You missed the detail explanation. The confirmed number to get foreign loan is only $20 bn. That number has been around from last year. The $104 bn is not confirmed at all.
if i remember correctly $20 billion loan was the target for 2021 made by kemenhan , and it just only get 1/2 of its approved by Bappenas , after they got 9,3$ billion approved , kemenkeu can only fulfill 1/2 of that request in the form of PSP which probably around 4,5-4,6$ billion for 2021 , that's still a large portion if used wisely .

"Pada tahun anggaran 2021, Kemhan mendapatkan alokasi senilai US$ 9,3 miliar dalam DRPPLN. Hal itu merupakan suatu kemajuan luar biasa karena nilai tersebut hanya untuk satu tahun anggaran saja. Sementara pada renstra 2015-2019 alokasinya hanya US$ 7,7 miliar. Dari nilai US$ 9,3 milyar, Kemenkeu hanya dapat memenuhi sekitar 50% saja dalam bentuk PSP. Kemampuan pembiayaan oleh Kemenkeu dapat dipahami karena Lapangan Banteng juga harus membiayai berbagai sektor lainnya secara simultan di masa pandemi ini."

apparently prabowo and his co at kemhan are trying to develop new roadmap that will overshadowed the MEF program if approved , it will be separated into 5 stage from 2021-2045 which the budget needed roughly calculated at around 200-300$ billion .

reading the above and then the following article:

https://www.defensenews.com/global/...whats-impeding-indonesias-military-ambitions/

have to say the the defensenews' article is spot on, particularly on the part of "lack of adherence to its long term vision"

I just realized that the link that you use as reference is actually written by that Alman guy :)

Anyway, it seems that the copy of the Perpres draft that Alman got is different than Connie's. In the video, where Connie read the article #3 verse #3, the $20 bil foreign loan is for 2020-2024. The not yet allocated (unconfirmed) $102 bil is also for 2020-2024.

If MoF approved $4.5-$4.6 bil foreign loan for 2021, it probably means it's part of $20 bil total until 2024.

Joint production of ships with Indonesia Strengthening security cooperation for the JMSDF prototype

2021.5.11 22:27
Political policy

Prime Minister's Office = Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo It was revealed on the 11th that the Japanese government is aiming to receive orders for ships from Indonesia using the "joint production" method based on the Maritime Self-Defense Force's escort ships. Under the three principles of defense equipment transfer formulated in 2014, "export" can only be permitted for equipment used for rescue and alert surveillance, and in order to transfer a escort ship capable of killing, it must be joint production, not export. This is because it is difficult to admit. It will be the first time if joint production of ships is realized.

Japan, Italy and Turkey are competing for orders for the relocation of ships to Indonesia. If Japan receives an order, through joint production, it will be possible to strengthen security cooperation with Indonesia, which is a major power of ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) and is exposed to the intimidation of China in the South China Sea.

The first ship to be prototyped in joint production with Indonesia is the JMSDF's new escort ship "FFM", which is scheduled to be commissioned in March next year. In addition to anti-submarine warfare, anti-aircraft warfare, and naval battle, it also has anti-aircraft warfare functions.

One of his tweets:

"It's a catamaran hull, which lets it to get into shallow water and achieve high speed. That will reduce accommodation space though, and it looks like any passengers will have to live on the back deck. Not ideal for long voyages or the purported 40 knots."

^^^ Seem he didn't watch the X18 video.

^^^ Actually the passengers are accomodated in each side of the catamaran hull and some in the bridge and not on the back deck.

Did Turkey really on tender list? Milgem class or T-2000? or is it just some wrong information that the journalists wrote, maybe the correct one should be UK-Denmark with their Type 31 Babcock - Iver Huitveld
