Spain Negotiates Procurement of 10 Surveillance Vessels

Indonesia, through the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries (KKP), is currently negotiating with the Spanish Government to build 10 surveillance vessels through a foreign loan/grant scheme (PHLN).

"Still in the negotiation process. The hope is that if Indonesia collaborates with the Spanish government, we plan to build 10 units," said the Director General (Dirjen) of Marine and Fisheries Resources Supervision (PSDKP) of the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries (KKP) Rear Admiral TNI Adin Nurawaluddin to ANTARA in Jakarta, Friday.

Adin added, to adjust to the Domestic Component Level (TKDN) aspect, the plan is that four units will be built in Spain and six units in Indonesia.

"We plan to build 10 units. The plan is to adapt to TKDN, four of these 10 units are planned to be built in Spain and six in Indonesia," he explained.

Next year, Prabowo says maung will be cheaper, build machinery factory

Prabowo, when speaking at the 2023 100 Economists Workshop event which was broadcast online by INDEF on YouTube on Wednesday (8/11) said that currently Maung's local component content is 73 percent.

Maung's production is said to involve approximately 133 local companies. They are said to be providers of components such as cables and seats.

"In the future it could be cheaper, it will be cheaper. And maybe next year we will build for the first time in Indonesian history a machine factory in Indonesia," said Prabowo.

"Later the content will be 92 percent," he said.

We produce munitions up to 105mm, although I'm not sure about its use. 155mm plant is planned in Subang.

Rhan-122b Grad munitions has passed certification last week and Rhan 450mm is still in development, they're short of around 8km of the range goal of 100km.

Other than that we produce FAB 100,250 bombs for Sukhois and BT-series bombs, equivalent to MK80 series bombs but a bit larger for NATO standard birds and RI-82, a MK 82 copy

We will also produce Hammer smart bomb kits with using CKD

Pindad, Safran Pursue Advancement of Smart Bomb for Rafale Jets

Pindad, in partnership with Safran Electronics & Defense, plans to produce the MK-82 highly-agile modular munition extended range (HAMMER).
