Sales are targeted for the first half of 2027.
We are planning for premium, upper, and mid segments. It will be competitive in battery and camera performance.
First phase: Will run on Android
Second phase: Domestic operating system
Third phase: Domestic chip
Phases are planned one year apart, investments have begun.

It’s primary aim is military .

I can understand them producing electronic gear and equipment as a sub contractor for health industry and other non military set ups. But to go in to a somewhat semi retail civilian industrial production arena would contain many unforeseen risks.
Phone market is a cut-throat market that has well established manufacturers with major markets very well shared among them. Breaking in to such markets could be both expensive and resource consuming , financially and from personnel point of view.

Aselsan is very well suited to make the Turkish mobile phone and put its name on it. Telecommunications is one of Aselsans major businesses. Aselsan started with making the frequency jumping/software defined radio as a major job and the Stinger seeker around the same period of time.

Going forward militarization and weaponization of economies and everything around human life is inevitable. Aselsan's name will be a sign of reliability going forward. The Iron curtain of the past is being rebuilt in different ways. Perhaps anything with brains in it that is being sourced from unreliable makers will be banned from use inside a nations borders if you can make your own. Otherwise it is submission to the enemy and slavery for a nation.

We will probably say goodby to Iphones in a couple of years which I've never said hello to personally. All foreign makers may join the bunch once we can make our own.

If you check on google you will find that Apple’s second largest R&D centre is in Israel with couple of thousand engineers employed..
Samsung, Sony, Huawei, Xiaomi, Nokia, Motorola all have R&D centres in Israel.
They are the people that develop the latest and most modern stuff all things related to mobile phones unfortunately.

You speak between you and your friend about special resin flooring. Go back to your search engine or your mobile and you will find that it starts giving you adverts of different companies near you that produces resin flooring.

Everything you say and do daily is monitored by “big brother” . So until mobile phones become free of foreign interference, and commercial greed of rich conglomerates we have a big problem to solve.
