Last night's total cost to Israel of 150-200 ballistic missiles, as many cruise missiles and 400-500 kamikazes was 1.1.5 billion dollars.

The target was the Nevatim or Ramon air base in southern Israel. It is not clear which one was shot, but it is possible that both of them were shot. However, hitting Nevatim air base means hitting the base where F-35 fighterjets are deployed. Considering the explosions at the hit base, we can say that even if the F-35 fighterjet were not destroyed, some shipments from the USA were destroyed. Likewise, Nevatim air base is the base where Israel deploys its nuclear weapons.

Last night, Iran used only 200 ballistic missiles + the same number of cruise missiles + 400-500 kamikaze UAVs. Kamikaze UAVs were not expected to hit the target anyway. They were used to keep Israel and its allies busy. So are cruise missiles. Perhaps cruise missiles have occupied Patriot missile defense systems the most.

Therefore, Israel + USA + England + France + Jordan and all the coalition presence in the Persian Gulf had to react to Iran's all-out action, but they could not prevent the air base that hit the consulate in Syria from being hit.

I don't have to like Iran. But for me, the enemy of my enemy is my friend. Last night was one of those nights. My country can remain neutral. But I don't have to remain neutral. Everyone who is human today owes this much to the people lynched in Palestine. Someone had to slap Israel for the Palestinians who were now stripped of their uniforms under tanks. And Iran achieved this last night.
Iran hasn't done it for Palestine, do they actually do anything for Palestine ever?

If Gaza still exists and the Palestinians were able to kill thousands of Israeli soldiers, it is thanks to the Iranians. Türkiye did not arm the Palestinians. Hezbollah armed it. It doesn't matter what you think about October 7 right now. You may or may not see this as a mistake. But finally someone showed Israel last night that it is not untouchable. That's enough for us. And if Israel doesn't keep quiet here (and we know it won't), it will pay a higher price.

According to Iran, during Operation True Promise, that hour, as a result of several missile warheads hitting the Ramon Air Force Base in Israel, the following were destroyed: a command post, a control tower, a radar, an air defense missile launcher, as well as at least 4 F-16I aircraft of the 201st and 253rd. th fighter squadron. Iranian sources report the destruction of a much larger number of aircraft (they write about 11), as well as 9 Apache helicopters.

They're both paper tigers to an extent. Israel's military no longer seems like it can punch above its weight. They're still revered, but they're no longer the pocket superpower they once were. Still more competent than their neighbors, but comparatively weaker than decades ago.

Meanwhile, whilst Iran has a vast missile and suicide drone arsenal, their conventional forces are lackluster. Almost their entire airforce consists of outdated aircraft. They lack the ability to control airspace and ultimately would suffer in combined arms warfare against a similar sized NATO country. All they can do is strike from a distance. Once their air defences are knocked out, they're toast.
Of course Iran will lose in conventional warfare yet no country in the world will like to invade iran.
They are good in guerilla and assymetric warfare.
Otherwise those invading army will go back home worst than in afghanistan and vietnam

Sounds like exaggeration.

Make a decision now, people. You were saying that Iran was making an animation show before Iran attacked Israel. You say that when Israeli air bases were hit, Palestinians suffered the most.

You need to decide which one you want. Palestinians would pay the price even if Iran did not hit Israel. Nothing much has changed for them today. Because the Western World's support for Palestine was already for show. And there was no response on the field. Even though Israel withdrew its soldiers from Gaza, it was still preparing to launch an operation in Rafah.

And when they entered Rafah, did you expect the US to embargo Israel or something? This must be a joke, right?

We have just wittnessed Kebap Soleimani retaliation 2.0.
Israel didnt suffer any significant damage, maybe money-wise but big brother US has enough anyways. And Iran can show the the World how "strong" and "determined" they are.

To categorize the impact of the attack, we need the full information of damage.
Our only hope here is for the Russians to take satellite photos of their air bases and publish them. This would probably be Ukraine's best revenge for them

I don't think companies that own commercial satellites can afford to become enemies with Israel. It is doubtful that China would want to try this either. Only the Russians remain.

Here's a quick summery.

So, now we know more than 300 projectiles were launched by Iran and its proxies from Lebanon, Syria, Iraq and Yemen. That includes 170 drones, 30 cruise missiles, and 120 'ballistic' missiles.

US and Jordenian Air Forces shot down more than 100 of these drones and cruise missiles before reaching Israel. Then IAF shot down its share before Israeli AD made a relatively quick work of whatever left afterward.

*Now when it comes to Shahed, I don't think we expected these slow drones to get through in numbers, specially when many fighter
interceptors were already in the air ahead. Though it was still impressive that Israel AD brought all of what left after fighters' interception.

*Next about 30 Iranian cruise missiles, it's also same. they are nowhere stealthy enough and US+Israeli jets likey made a quick work of them. If few got through Israeli AD shot them down. (We saw how easy it is to shoot down large numbers of subsonic cruise missiles in Ukraine)

*About 120 ballistic missiles, here it gets interesting. While technically it maybe true, but it is likely Israel is counting ballistic interception of short range rockets & missiles launched from nearby proxies in Lebanon and Syria as shooting down 120 ballistic missiles. While in reality I don't think Iran has launched 120 MRBMs from its territory, the numbers is likely similar to the cruise missile strike package. Around 25-30 MRBMs. From the footage it seems 6 of them got through and struck the Air base in the desert. That means roughly 20% success rate in penetration for MRBMs specifically. Or 80% success in interception for Israeli BMD.

Iran attacked Israel on the night of April 13-14. Iran's operation is called "True Promise" and is Iran's response to Israel's attack on the Iranian consulate in Damascus. This is Iran's first direct attack on Israel from its territory, reportedly targeting Israeli military targets. The strike on Israel was carried out using kamikaze drones Shahed-136, Shahed-131 and jet drones Shahed-238. Sumar cruise missiles and Fateh-110 and Khaybar ballistic missiles are also used, capable of carrying different types of warheads, including multiple warheads. Other types of missiles are also used. Data on the number of Iranian missiles and drones are contradictory, with some media reporting that Iran has used 185 drones, 36 cruise missiles and 110 surface-to-surface missiles. The Iranian attack is currently considered the most massive drone attack in world history. In repelling an attack by Iran, Israel is assisted by aircraft from the United States, Great Britain and France. Jordan also intercepts missiles; the video shows debris from a downed Iranian missile in Aman. Israel has reported intercepting 99% of Iran's missiles and drones, but this cannot be true as Israeli residents film Iranian missile strikes. The video shows rare footage of an Iranian ballistic missile interception taking place outside the Earth's atmosphere. Footage of Iranian missile attacks on the Ramon airbase in the Negev desert was also published. According to the latest data, Israel reported that the damage from the attacks was insignificant and that it would launch a retaliatory strike against Iran within 48 hours. The United States announced that it would not support Israel's attack on Iran. The commander of the Iranian IRGC said that Iran's operation against Israel was more successful than expected and he does not plan to continue it, but in case of an Israeli strike, he will strike back with a more powerful strike. The following shows the work of Israeli air defense and attacks by Iranian missiles and drones.
