Yes but I think I'm accurate in my estimation. Urban warfare does not require long range movements for the most part, short strides and high maneuverability is more suited in most situations. Hence why the concept I'm thinking is about urban sieges against unconventional opponents, and not field battles ala Ukraine. Because in ukraine you are less likely to face a similar issue.

And the main problem is you have a chaotic environment that is ripe for ambushes or even suicide attacks by infantry. When those happen the tank needs to have eyes outside it and a weapon that can quickly engage the target. A UGV constantly scanning the perimeter near and behind the tank can deal with these.

If active protection systems are enough to deal with AT munitions, main gun is enough to deal with vehicles and strongpoints, and UGVs cover the back, the you have a great unmanned wombo-combo of systems for urban warfare. Only thing remaining is room clearing.

It is generally accepted that tanks cause casualities to the infantry around them. With this you dont have the infantry, except door kickers.

I genuinely find it comical that journalists from across the world enter war zones with the arrogance and assumption that they'll be safe. As if their "press" body armor is going to deter a combatant from an air / artillery strike. You see it in conflicts from every region. Journalists and their sensationalist anchors after shocked when they're killed by the fighting... You're a person who writes stories, not Superman. If you head to a war zone to report on a war, there is a quality chance that you'll be killed in the fighting.
