#Iran’s novel use of drones as low cost cruise missiles. What is impressive is the range they have achieved in real missions. Not a terrible idea, one other countries should consider.

Iran is recreating the Persian Empire. Only things are that it is called " Islamic Republic " and you can't sipp a whisky and watch girls legs in Tehran. All of it for relatively little money .
Those little esoteric stories are for motivating masses . They found a good niche, I have to admit.
Us and others will alow it as long as there's money flowing in and the chaos. Good recipe that, it makes sure that only amount of gain is variable but not the gain in itself.

As for recreating the persian empire, its just creating further instability across Muslim majority lands. It won't achieve anything to challenge any great power. It will just be used as another anchor to weigh the middle east down and keep it backward.
Iran contributed to more deaths of Muslims in Syria then Isreal has committed in Palestine. Had the Muslim brotherhood succeded in Syria and not be overthrown in egypt, today you have an allied Islamic Turkey, Egypt and Syria on the same page. They couldnt crushed Palestine. But morsi was over thrown and assad was kept in power. So now Gaza is destroyed.
To me the iran/america conflict is just theatre. No more. I suspect every rocket fired towards an american base is first cleared with the americans before it can be launched. Hence why no americans ever die in iranian attacks.

I am sure Iran warned the Americans first before they launched the rockets, the same as when they did after the killing of Qassem Soulaimani.
Iran is like Israel a US asset against the Sunni Powers.
Stupid move, didn't achieve anything and the US is under pressure to wipe something out. Will it be more militias across Syria and Iraq? Houthis? Or maybe a strike inside Iran
I doubt they hit a "Mossad HQ", it was just a response to the US sending another 1500 troops to Iraq and Syria
