People fail to realise why democracy and even liberal secularism is non existent in russia.

People need to look back at centuries of history.

Russia's history has ways been dominated by absolute power, authoratarianism, totaltarianism regardless if its monarchs or communism.

Why havent the Russians ever been flinched by it because to them it works. Average Russian believes no strongman ruling means chaos. Russia without a single ruler has always been chaos.

I can see why Putin rules long for so long. Stalin ruled for decades while the Romanov dynasty ruled Russia for 300 years.
