So they definitely discussed it..

Looks like this meeting has been underwhelming.

Yes
According to sources, the Syrian ambassador wanted full complete TSK withdrawal from Syria and transfer of the lands it controls to Russia/Assad allaince in return of promises to stop the PKK. The Turkish govt delegate reportedly stated that they dont believe such promises as they still protect PKK members and the fact that Assad may cause a new refugge influx 2.0 from Idlib etc into Turkey; thus, Turkey refused. Moreover, the fact that Assad refused to comply with the Adana treaty which Assad's father signed to raises a lot of concerns about Assad's legitimacy

Many analysts states that Syria's maximalist demands is due to the fact that the opposition promised withdrawal from Syria without any compromises from the Syrian side and the opposition's prospects of winning are better than ever. In other words, they are stalling until after elections since they will get what they want for free

As for Russia and USA, they gain the greatets benefit in all of this fiasco
Syria is just bidding their time until the elections and Turkey's foreign policy is unkown until we see who will win though I expect it to be kilicdaroglu

Turkey still using Adana Treaty as the backbone of its argument is what falters the discussion. Adana Treaty is no longer realistically valid while Turkish soldiers are in Syria. Assad sees this, we decide not to.

I don't see an easy end to this whole ordeal no matter who wins next month. KK is also aware that pulling the troops from Idlib will only create more refugees.

Assad is an idiot
Adana treaty clearly states that if the Syrian regime fails to stop PKK activities within its borders, then it is legitimate for the TSK to take matters into their own hands and enter Syria themselves to kill those assholes. Assad's main argument is that they entered Syria and they killed the PKK so they should leave while the TSK states that the Pkk is still alive but hiding behind Russia, Assad, and USA backs

And yes, not only KK but each and every politician probably knows that if the TSK leaves Idlib, then a new refugee will occur; yet, KK promised to do that because the USA has been pissed about the Turkish presence in Syria. After all, no human being would watch while he/she is either butchered/raped/stolen by Assad's forces
That is why I said KK's promises of removing refugees within 2 years is nothing but a lie to grab as many votes as possible

There is an unusual movement of Turkish Armed Forces in Cinderes city in the south of Afrin city in OBO (Olive Branch) zone.

Local sources report that the Turkish Armed Forces and the National Intelligence Organisation (MIT) are on high alert in Cinderes city and tanks belonging to the Turkish Armed Forces have been on the streets.

According to local sources, the name of TAF's Afrin operation: Mousetrap

Off the note: Last week, some Hdp executives and high-level terrorists from the PKK were saying that they would take back Afrin.

After the election, the operation seemed certain. But I think this operation news may be related to a kind of emergency. The probability of a point operation is also low, more than 50 rats have been culled in Iraq and Syria in last 1-2 month, and almost all of them were UAV-based operations.

The so-called leader of the Daesh terrorist organisation was also culled near this town. This situation creates uncertainty as to which group the operation is directed against, as there has been no announcement on the matter yet. On the other hand, another US-backed terrorist organisation, the PKK, has also made statements about Afrin for after 15 May. There are many proxy terrorist organisations waiting for Turkiye to be paralysed inside.

edit:
"Probably a Daesh cell operation or a change of guard"

Y’all got fooled, friends. The account first sharing the news was testing who would copy their news without putting them as a source.

nothing was going on

MIT has recently been carrying out pest control with unprecedented intensity. Today's lucky rat in the Ain al-Arab countryside.

MİT neutralized Tuba Karakoç, code-named "Zin Kobani/Cudi Egid/Sorxwin", the so-called Aynularab (Kobani) financial officer of the terrorist organization PKK/YPG, with an operation in Syria.

According to the information received from security sources, Karakoç joined the terrorist organization PKK in 2013 and operated in many areas in Turkey, Iraq and Syria.

It was learned that Karakoç, who was determined to be in search of action in Turkey and was involved in many terrorist activities, went to Iraq to provide financial support to the organization due to his so-called financial responsibility in Syria.

Following this, Karakoç was neutralized with the operation of the MIT in the Sirrin/Ayn Isa region of Syria.
