Without AKP, we would have a Kurdistan in Syria.
I would like to say that the AKP did indirectly create the PKK in Syria

Before, the AKP in order to appease Western powers, tried to be as much friendly as possible to Western demands; this included normalisation with the HDP, as well as not interfering with what the US does in Syria
This was a grave mistake by the AKP. Certainly, some may argue that Turkey between 2011-2015 didnt have a strong military as of right now and is certainly a fair point. However, that doesnt explain why they wanted to have peace with the HDP as this made the PKK freaks infiltrate heavily in Turkey and cause terrorist bombings In major Turkish cities

Regardless of the past, AKP cleaned their previous mess after 2016 by driving most PKK members which infiltrated into Turkey and this is proved by the reduced terror incidents in Turkey post 2016

Sadly, the current political spectrum in Turkey is shameful!
The CHP and HDP want Turkey to get the hell out of Syria
The iYi wants to make peace with Assad
In other words, all influential parties aside from the AKP will lead to the formation of an even stronger, more coherent, more elusive PKK organisation. Thus, the current policies of the AKP in which they stay embedded in Syria and becoming a pain in the ass for Russia and US while ensuring that the PKK is away from Turkish border by 30 km in key areas like Idlib as an example is the best choice to make

The current policies of the AKP are the best policies that can be obtained from the proposals made by political parties in Turkey

If AKP didn't work together with the US to destabilize Syria, there wouldn't have been a power vacuum in northern syria for PKK to fill.

Thats true but you are forgetting that same regime which supported pkk for decades and how Turkey came close to war in the late 90s against Syria.

Akp is the architect of the Pkk state in Syria. Erdogan is the father of Ypg state in Syria.
He helped USA destabilise Syria, he willingly took 5 million+refugees to demographically shift the area in favor of Pkk.
It is because of Erdogan that today we cant arrest Hdp members. Because he legitimised their connections to Pkk by initiating solution process.

PKK was finished in 2000. Erdogan revived it and let it become a state in North Syria with his politics.

Erdogan is the biggest traitor of Turkish history along with Damat Ferit and Vahdettin.

Yeah, when erdogan basically told the syrians to come to Turkey, he was basically indirectly depopulating the north of syria to open the doors for kurdish ypg majority region. That single move worked against Turkey and made it easier for assad/YPG.

It was such an obvious "greater middle east" move, its mind boggling how the common islamist cannot see it.

To win the syrian civil war you needed the syrians to stay in syria and fight, not to give them an easy out to come live in Istanbul. Instead of these people staying and fighting, he shifted most of the northern syrian population into Turkey. The kurds/ypg basically walked into empty villages and annexed them to be part of kurdistan.

One thing you have to give the western/christian world, when it comes to geopolitics is that they are no fools. The christian west compared to muslim east is far more intelligent and shrewd when it comes to geopolitics.

The reality is that failed politics means that Turkey is going to face some dark times ahead. The long term goal of the russians and americans in northern syria is to create a no fly zone against Turkey. If they ever achieve that kurdistan will be built in northern syria and western discussions about the kurdish question concerning south east Turkey will become louder.

They already turned communist extremists into heroes and fighters of western liberties and freedom. "The most effective fighting force". A bunch of cowardly communist terrorists were picked over Turkey. Thats because the long term goal is obvious, the balkanisation of Turkey.

What is confusing for me is that Erdogan and Akp continue to serve YPG by telling public Syrians are to stay.

Even after they fell out with USA and west in general, Erdogan still serves to BOP demographically. This part I dont understand.

Also I agree with you %100 that west is more shrewd in geopolitics and so should Turkey be.

They used ISIS as boogeyman. Turkey demined the borders(the bid was given to an Israeli firm!) and as expected millions of Syrians flooded Turkey. Making North Syria demographically fit for YPG to found Kurdistan.

To me it looks like erdogan got addicted to the power, that led him to conflict with feto. It was feto that brought him to power and it was feto that had the most power and potential to remove him from power. So the conflict was never about patriots vs traitors, it was about two sets of traitors fighting over power in Turkey.

In his mind the only opposition to him and his cronies turning Turkey into some kind of monarchy is the secular minded Turks, so he thinks if he can flood the country with middle easterners, even afghans and pakistani's he stands a much better chance to stay in power. The middle eastern mindset falls for cheap islamist tricks like no other. While all that islamist bullshit doesn't work with smart secular minded people, it certainly works with peasant minded people.

The more he tilts the demographic towards the middle eastern mindset, the easier it is for him to bring in dictatorship, if Turkey isnt already one. And the reason i say if it isnt already one, is because i doubt this guy will go peacefully if he somehow lost an election rigged to make sure he wins. I can see this guy starting a civil war to cling onto power.

This is why the welfare of Turkey is constantly trampled on, why he constantly polarises the nation and why he constantly panders to separatists and enemies. He couldn't care less for Turkey, all he cares about is creating his own dynasty, so him and his cronies can rule and benefit financially indefinitely. If that means creating a kurdistan in syria and iraq, so be it. If that means giving the kurds autonomy in south east Turkey so be it. Whatever helps erdogans gang cling onto power.

Just look when the russians killed 40 Turks in idlib, erdogan and his media actually worked to hide it. He didnt want to confront it and he didnt want to risk his position in power over it. It was only social media that created massive anger and forced erdogan to act, but one day into it he was already begging putin for a meeting.

This mindset is how a mess like Syria can occur for Turkey, because we have leaders who are only interested in their own personal position rather then the welfare of the state.

This is why erdogan constantly attacks social media, its the one remaining platform that exists to expose his corruption. If erdogan had his way even things like this forum would be banned in Turkey. Since anything that challenges erdogan and AK party is seen as a threat to their heavy handed rule.

Just look at armenia, for a while the AK party islamists were doing everything to pander to armenia at the expense of Turkey and Azerbaijan. Davutoglu even employed an armenian as an advisor whose only role was to promote the armenian genocide accusations. He was even given a column in daily sabah where all he would talk about is how its time the Turks accept the genocide accusations.

A lot of this peace process bs was not just supported by islamists but also leftists and liberals.

Promise any ahole utopia bs they eat it up with ease.

Both the right and left are cucked when it comes to the mass migration issue.

I actually see the islamists as closet communists, another left leaning ideology. Big state, no tolerance for differing opinions or ideas etc.
