Rare footage of the Russian BTR-MRU-D air defense reconnaissance and control vehicle, based on the BTR-MDM Rakushka. The MRU-D is used by the Russian Airborne Forces and is equipped with the MRU-D (9S932-2) air defense reconnaissance and control module with the 1L122-1 Garmon radar. In this case, the MRU-D works together with the Russian Strela-10 air defense missile system. The MRU-D radar was first shown in 2018 and is designed to detect air targets at low and medium altitudes. The MRU-D air defense module operators transmit data via secure communication channels for target designation by the Strela-10MN air defense missile system or by crews with the Verba MANPADS. The MRU-D radar is capable of detecting targets at a range of up to 40 km, at target flight speeds of up to 700 m/s and flight altitudes of up to 10 km. The MRU-D radar can track up to 100 targets simultaneously. The radar is ready for operation for 5 minutes, and is controlled by two operators. Information about the BTR-MDM is available on the channel.

Rare footage of the flight and explosion of a Russian cruise missile Kh-22 in the Lipetsk region of Russia has been published. The video, filmed on February 1, shows the force of the Kh-22 missile explosion and the crater that forms after the explosion. Presumably, the Kh-22 missile was launched from a Tu-22M3 aircraft and its engine failed. Kh-22 missiles were accepted into service by the USSR in 1971. In 2000, Ukraine returned 386 Kh-22 cruise missiles to Russia as a debt write-off. After that, Russia modernized the missiles almost to the level of Kh-32 missiles. By 2022, Russia had at least 400 Kh-22 missiles. It is believed that even now, the Kh-22 missile can overcome the Aegis air defense system. You can evaluate the characteristics of some types of Kh-22 missiles in the table. The missile has a liquid rocket engine R-201-300 and inertial guidance with subsequent final active radar homing on the target. New modifications of the Kh-22 missiles have a flight range of up to 600 kilometers, at a speed of up to 5600 kilometers per hour, at an altitude of up to 27 km, the mass of the warhead is 1000 kg. Deviation from the target is about 30 meters. The cost of the Kh-22 missile is about a million dollars.

A well-shot episode of the work of the Russian ZRPK "Pantsir-S1". ZRPK "Patsir-S1" is a development of the ZRPK "Tunguska-M" project. As reported, the servicemen of this combat vehicle showed very effective work. ZRPK "Pantsir-S1" was developed in 2008, now it is used by 8 countries. Over the years of work, the ZRPK "Pantsir-S1" has proven itself well, the complex successfully hit all types of air targets. It is worth noting that this version of the air defense cannot hit small drones and FPV. The video shows the version of ZRPK Pantsir-S2 with a multifunctional radar station 1RS1-3E-RLM.

The Ministry of Defense has shown rare footage of the Russian S-350 Vityaz air defense system in action. In this version, the air defense system is covered with metal sheets to protect against drones. The S-350 air defense system launcher contains 12 missiles and is capable of firing a salvo equivalent to a division of S-300 air defense systems.

High-quality footage of Russian Kh-39 missiles, also known as the Izdeliye 305 missile or the LMUR missile. Kh-39 missiles are used by the Ka-52M Alligator, M-28NM Night Hunter helicopters, and the Mi-8AMTSh-VN Sapsan transport and attack helicopter. The Kh-39 air-to-ground missile can be used at a range of up to 14.5 kilometers, so it surpasses the American AGM-114 Hellfire missile, which has a range of up to 10 km. Some media outlets report that the Kh-39 can hit targets at a range of up to 20 km. The Kh-39 missile uses an inertial guidance system, supplemented by GPS and an optical seeker. The operator can even hit a window with the missile. The missile can also be used on the "fire and forget" principle, it develops a speed of up to 828 km/h (230 m/s). The mass of the missile is 105 kg, the high-explosive fragmentation warhead weighs 25 kg. The length of the missile is 1945 mm, the diameter of the body is 200 mm. There is no data on the price.

An episode with the Russian Pantsir-SMD-E air defense system, which was shown at the recent IDEX-2025 international defense exhibition in Abu Dhabi. An overview of the air defense system is in the link to the video in the comments to the video. The video showed for the first time three types of missiles used in the Pantsir-SMD-E air defense system, instead of two. Officially, according to press releases, 57E6-E missiles and TKB-1055 anti-drone mini missiles are used. The third type is the 57E6M-E missile with the Zavesa kinetic-action warhead. The warhead weight has increased from 20 kg to 25 kg, the missile weight has increased from 98 kg to 115 kg. With the 57E6M-E missile, the Pantsir-SMD-E air defense system can hit targets at a range of 30,000 meters and an altitude of 18,000 meters. The 57E6M-E missile increased the air defense firing range by 10,000 meters and the altitude of target destruction by 3,000 meters. The flight speed of the 57E6M-E missile was increased from 1,300 m/s to 1,700 m/s. compared to the 57E6-E missile. The 57E6M-E missile can also be used in the Pantsir-S1M air defense system.
