30 kg, very nice very lovely size

Also, more news on CİRİT C-UAS and Mini Cruise missile, as well as some other things are coming up. After I take a rest since today has taken its toll too.
That's more than I expected, it is very nice. If 2 or 3 of them can be carried on a rack, that is whole lot of "fuck you" in stand off range. I love it.

starting with further details on CİRİT C-UAS, it is actually well-optimised with new flight control algorithms and RF proximtiy fuse (Been expecting laser but hey, who cares)

YILDIRIMHAN LONG-RANGE MISSILE SYSTEM

The Unsymmetrical Dimethylhydrazine (UDMH) and nitrogen tetroxide-derived liquid fuels used in the YILDIRIMHAN missile system are produced domestically by our R&D center. This fuel technology provides missile systems with high maneuverability thanks to its ability to be stored for long periods, operate at low temperatures, and generate high energy.

FIELD TESTS ARE ONGOING

The laboratory testing processes for the YILDIRIMHAN Missile System, which has the capacity to carry a 3-ton warhead, have been successfully completed, and work related to field tests is continuing in line with the planned schedule.

Within the scope of the National Technology Initiative, our Ministry will continue with determination to support the development of our defense industry, develop indigenous and national systems, and enhance Türkiye’s strategic deterrence capability.

Could this incident be related to the Yildirimhan missile?
This is only in Turkish, you need to add an English translation or option on the site(not available) or it will be deleted.

Kaan will carry a supersonic anti-radiation missile on its external pylon. This may also be the first official image of the Akbaba to appear in the press.

Everything is obivious but I don't want the smoke that comes with declaring what is obivious. The media-company relations in Türkiye are weird at times.

Idk who exactly said the Yildirimhan missile is a complete scam but thats js a dumb statement, we have been working on hybrid and liquid rocket engines since 2010s, also there is a reason why we are rushing to build a space port in somalia, which is absolutly needed to test such a missile after all you dont want an ICBM failing its test and falling on ur cities or other nations, also we are more than capable of building such a rocket only thing we needed to develop was the engines and the fuel systems, yes these were not easy things to do but like I said before Tubitak and Delta V have been working on liquid rocket engines for a decade if not more. "In a research project carried by TUBITAK-SAGE, Turkey's first operational liquid fuelled rocket motor has been designed, manufactured and tested. The rocket motor uses hydrogen peroxide as oxidizer and hydrocarbon based chemical as fuel. Also some metal salts are added into the fuel in order to attain hypergolic ignition." we started working on hypergolic engines in around early 2000s this quote is from an article that was written in 2005.

TÜBİTAK SAGE Director Kemal Topalömer:

As part of the GÖKHAN Project, Turkey is developing a liquid-fueled ramjet-powered air-to-air missile.

GÖKHAN will reach speeds of up to Mach 4 and will maintain its energy throughout flight, narrowing the target’s escape zone.

Turkey is among the few countries capable of turning ramjet technology into an operational product.

A next-generation wind tunnel capable of testing from Mach 0.2 to Mach 4 is being built at the SAGE campus.

The next target is hypersonic missile technology powered by a scramjet engine.

This is from a different interview with her.

🇹🇷 New official statements have been released regarding the YILDIRIMHAN ICBM.

Nilüfer Kuzulu, Director of the R&D Center at the Turkish Ministry of National Defense (MSB), made the following remarks in a statement to Türker Akıncı:

> “For approximately 10 years, we have carried out extensive work on the small components of this missile — each individual part — including development, qualification, and certification processes. After finally succeeding in the mass production and storage of the fuel system, which was the most difficult part of the project, all that remained was assembly.

> We had already tested and approved our rocket engines, completed all inspections, and finalized their qualification process.

> This contains far more filling material than the one inside GAZAP — in fact, nearly 3 tons of filling material. Therefore, it will have a very significant impact.

> Its speed is Mach 9 within the atmosphere and Mach 25 outside the atmosphere. We will operate it using only UDMH and nitrogen tetroxide.”

🚀 Roketsan General Manager Murat İkinci:

"Actually, we launched four new products of ours. Of course, among these products, the munitions for our sihas stand out prominently. For instance, when you look at our new mini cruise missile in this regard, it will hopefully add even more power to the strength of our sihas with a range of 250 kilometers.
“We will, God willing, see our mini cruise missile very soon as well.”

These missiles, which can be produced very rapidly and cost-effectively, will be smart munitions capable of being launched from our UCAVs and aircraft and delivering effects at ranges of up to 250 km.

In this project, we designed a structure that allows for the use of various materials—from plastic to metal and sheet metal—that are easy to procure, simple to process, and manufacturable through molding rather than CNC machining.

We aimed to develop a product that does not compromise on the technological capabilities of our other cruise missiles, while standing out through its cost advantage.

We foresee this munition eventually evolving into a missile family suitable for swarm deployment in the future.
