Niger is a battle royale. Nearly everybody there is armed.

From soldiers to the tribes along with the terrorists. Everybody is out there for their own taking.

They make crips and the bloods look like boys scouts.
We are still watching the trailer... If international attention doesn't shift fast the situation will deteriorate further with no point of return. While ISIS and Al-Qaeda are making peace and finding mutual grounds the situation is further destabilized by the internal politics of the countries of the region. They don't understand that this time Wagner will not be able to stop the threat. Let alone Wagner but even western intervention will take years to bring stability. The French will be their smallest problem. I don't want to be a bad prophet but the situation is extreme.

A lot of the people in Niger dont like Westerners or Europeans in general.

Even if Niger is a broken country a lot of them hate the French in particular.

Lots of African countries despite the broken situation they are in are actually rejecting any kind of Western help because they believe it comes with strings attached and are only there for the resources.

French have commited numerous atrocities in Niger and it is not easily forgotten some of their tribal elders skulls are still in French Museums.

The Foreign Ministers of Niger, Mali and Burkina Faso made a joint statement and announced that they agreed to establish the Confederation, whose goal is the Sahel Federation.
Insha'Allah this will lead to more Sahel states joining, creating an anchor of stability for prosperity and development. A good step towards ending colonialism in the region.

Niger junta revokes military accord with United States

Niger’s ruling military junta has revoked with immediate effect a military accord with United States that allows US military personnel and civilian staff from the Department of Defense on its soil, junta spokesman Colonel Amadou Abdramane said on Niger’s national television.

The US operates a drone base in northern Niger.

Following the reported Failure of Negotiations over the last week between Members of the Niger Military Junta and Senior U.S. Diplomatic and Military Officials, the Junta has announced the Immediate End of any Cooperation Agreements between Niger and the United States including the Agreement which allowed the Establishment of 2 Major U.S. Air Force Bases within the Country; Air Base 101 near the Capital of Niamey and Air Base 201 in the City of Agadez which are both Strategically Important Bases for USAFRICOM and Drone Operations against Islamic Terrorist Groups in Africa.
