The receipt of M1117 armored wheeled vehicles from the USA continues at a rapid pace. Thus, on Sunday, another 180 vehicles of the type arrived in Thessaloniki by ship.
The vehicles have the "desert" variant, which will change when they reach a PEB. They can be sent to PEB in a second year, as the needs for these vehicles are pressing. Thus, in many cases the M1117s are forwarded directly to the Units, where they receive armaments from the ES reserves.

We note something we have written before. The ES has taken care of the receipt of the necessary weapons for the satisfactory armament of the vehicles. Therefore, do not listen to the "parrots" who talk about insufficient armament. In any case, they still carry more weapons than the GD240 they replace.

Receipts will continue throughout 2022 and 2023, until the requested number of 1,200 vehicles of the type is completed. The M1117 are provided to our country through the US Excess Defense Articles (EDA) program and are used in reconnaissance and surveillance missions, significantly increasing the operational capabilities of the Army, due to their flexibility and enhanced armor.

Yeah man sure I replied to you there. What I meant was quantity wise , pretty sure that 50% of the numbers is summed by older equipment even though in the next years it will vastly be improved
