Thriller in Evros with 17 Turks who were located on an islet of the river at Neraidotopos near Ferres.
The 17, including five children, were fugitives in a miserable condition due to the severe cold and were located by police patrolling the area. According to evros-news.gr, these are 8 men, 4 women and 5 children, who crossed the border at noon in the Delta of the river Evros in the area Neraidotopos, in order to seek political asylum because they are in danger in their country.
Turkish cirizens were transferred to the competent services for first aid and now the legal procedures will be followed.
