We should have entered into negotions and dragged them along couple of years. We badly need this time. If Israel bombs now Damascus what are we going to do? Protest ? Or pretend nothing happened? We still didnt finish Özgür 2 modernization and dont have enough AD systems as well as strike missiles. But hey we will have 10 KE by end of the year and I have heard that Hürkus 2 is real cool.😎

Looks like the Golan Heights isn't enough to satisfy their appetite.
What do they want, Damascus?
Actually Israeli media, in recent days, have started openly stating that many IDF commanders are preparing for a potential campaign to grab Damascus.

Israel is fearful not of today's Syria but of the Syria that will appear within 5-10 years. If a truly unified Syria with a strong army appears, they may even lose their beloved Golan heights. Syria has the legitimacy, the strategic depth, the supply routes and surrounding allied states while Israel has no one to willing to fight its wars for it; what Syria currently lacks is a modern army and that will be resolved with time just like with Azerbaijan's war in karabagh

Israel knowing that time isnt on its side is slowly gearing up to take matters into its own hands and may potentially move militarily to ensure Syria remains divided once and for all
