In view of the "disasters" suffered by Pantsir systems thanks to the Turkish origin UAVs in such theatres as Syria, Libya and Karabakh, Turkish defence industry officials would do well to look at Thailand and Bangladesh as prospective customers to counter this proposed sale.
I would expect the Thai government to exercise a greater degree of autonomy in its decision making process compared to the current Bangladeshi government. However, the Turkish defence industry officials would be well advised to scour both markets for potential sales opportunities to counter this proposed Russian sale.
