I suppose this is at ~4m resolution, since it's in color. I wonder if the panchromatic B&W resolution really is *just* .99m or that we just say it is. I hope it's the latter but any submeter resolution is a great achievement nonetheless.

The mission design and preliminary design studies of the spacecraft, which was developed within the scope of the Space Agency's mission to land on the Moon, have been completed. The critical design process continues.

DELTA V is developing the spacecraft's hybrid fuel rocket engines. The goal in the lunar mission is to perform 2 launches. In the first, we will go out of the atmosphere with a foreign contractor. After leaving the atmosphere, hybrid fuel rocket engines will be ignited.

Cameras produced for observation are developed nationally. The second launch is planned to be made with national resources in 5 years and a soft landing on the Moon is aimed.

Space? LoL come on guys! We have more important things to do(!) Indian brothers soft landed to the moon's hardest side a couple of minutes ago, so I prepared a statement for them:

First of all, let's see if there is a temple in Gandhi's tomb or not. If not, build it first and then you can come, okay?(!) Your mind is not working at all, Moon etc 🌒 these are empty things (!) Their heads are not working at all (!) What is the need for the Moon 🌙. Build temples to everywhere and roads too then destroy it all and rebuild it again and again and again so you can get rich quickly (!) Polarize the people, not aim the moon's poles, and travel to such extremes(!) Do your worldly work, and remember the state and people of it already have much more resources in their pockets in compare to the moon(!) Do you see the moon in the flag yeah 🇹🇷 that moon is more than enough for us because it can feed our all of our politicians and even their relatives too so there's no need for such waste of energy and time(!)(!)(!)

Turksat 6A is expected to be launched into space in June 2024

Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu said, "We plan to send the satellite to the launch site in accordance with the agreement made with the Space X company and carry out the necessary launch operations, probably in June." said.

"The production, integration and testing of Thermal Structural and Engineering Models have been completed in the Türksat 6A satellite project, which is currently planned to produce 3 separate models: 'Thermal Structural Adequacy Model', 'Engineering Model' and 'Flight Model'. 'Engineering Model' integration "The activities have been completed and the system level, first functional tests, thermal vacuum test, vibration test, acoustic test and electromagnetic compatibility tests have been completed."

Uraloğlu stated that preparations for the system level compact area antenna test (CATR), which is the last test phase, have started, and that the deployment tests of the antenna and solar panels will start in October, and the launcher compatibility and pyro tests and the final alignment tests will start in November.

Stating that solar panels integration and mass properties measurement will be carried out in February 2024 after the CATR compact area antenna test, Uraloğlu made the following evaluation:

"With the completion of all these tests, our satellite will be ready for delivery to the launch site. According to the evaluations we made with all our solution partners during today's visit, we plan to deliver our Türksat 6A satellite on the ground in March. Afterwards, this satellite will be sent to the launch site in accordance with the agreement made with the Space "We plan to carry out the necessary launch operations within the month. The area we are in is truly one of the important structures that show the level that Turkish engineering has reached in the space industry. There is really effort and effort here. We have seen it on site with pride and appreciation."
