3.5 ton to sGTO; if this payload can be launched from İğneada (which we don't know for sure but is highly likely) the same rocket can launch 4.7+ ton (by physics) from an equatorial location like the shores of Somalia.

I think that Italians made provision that the rockets can be launched from Trieste helicopter carrier, just in the case if they have a problem with the French?
By rockets I mean rockets , the thing you launch and it goes into space , what possibly other than that it can be?
Would like a source for that (no hate) because that seems impossible

I read it some time ago , I can't recall where.
To build a Cosmodrom worth few billions in more or less fictive country like Somalia is a bit risky.
Anyway, I believe that in some tests of reusable rockets , sea barges are used for a docking. So maybe Anadolu can be used as an option?

Probably the simplest way to use existing capabilities to launch space rockets is using two of our LST ships side by side and making a temporary larger platform on top of them. Our rockets will mostly be 30m 40m and 50m long rockets weighing up to 200 tons. It is like launching the weight of an Altay MBT with a 30m rocket, 2 Altays with a 40m rocket and 3 Altays with a 50m rocket. The inside of the LST can carry rocket parts and people to the launch location and you will have everything you need already.

I read it some time ago , I can't recall where.

There was a plan to retrofit the old Garibaldi as a space launch system called Simona. Those plans of course went nowhere.

Bro helicopter carrier is ship , ship sails in sea , sea has waves moves and is dangerous to lunch a space rocket from it , Perhaps u can lunch Atacams or bora type ones but never huge space slv that requere alot of things . What if something go wrong ! All in ship will be dead or injured .
Even if u do it u need to modify everything and slv will look like İCBM lunch from its TELs .
Did u see huge water going down when missile fires ? thats because the missile is so powerful that its noise can brake electronics and other things , thats just one of the problems

Sea Launch used a modified oil rig to send out many successful missions using Zenit rockets over a decade. There was one explosion aboard during a launch about 20 years ago but noone was injured as all launches were done remotely. Using an active duty ship as a space launch vehicle would make that ship nonusable for military needs, so Anadolu couldn't be used as a launch vehicle until after it's retired, which should be about 30 years.

The benefits of sea launches are that you can optimise your orbit and payload. The problem is that the rocket must be designed for sea launch, with complex logistics that make it expensive. The platform is normally evacuated before launch.

There was some interest in this type of launch and decends for a long time, but it fell out of fashion due to cost. It is now making a comeback with both Chinese and American systems (New Glenn and SpaceX).

Minister Kacır: We plan to launch our lunar spacecraft into space in the first months of 2027

Following the “Lunar Research Program Press Conference” held at TÜBİTAK UZAY OPMER regarding the “Lunar Spacecraft Project,” Minister Kacır spoke to members of the press in front of the Lunar Spacecraft and shared his assessment.

Kacır emphasized that one of the most important goals of the National Space Program is to reach the Moon with a spacecraft developed and produced using Türkiye’s own capabilities. He said:

“To date, only eight countries have succeeded in reaching the Moon. God willing, when Türkiye successfully completes this mission, it will become the ninth country to reach the Moon. At the same time, it will be the first Muslim country to carry out such a mission. As a country whose flag bears a crescent, the Turkish people will, God willing, experience the pride of reaching the Moon in a very strong way.”

More than 80 percent domestically produced

Kacır stated that the project is more sophisticated than the satellite projects they have carried out so far, noting that they had celebrated the achievements of Türkiye’s national Earth-observation satellites and the national communications satellite TÜRKSAT 6A together. He said that each success had taken them toward more ambitious goals and that, with the Lunar Spacecraft, they would now reach a much more advanced level.

Emphasizing that the Moon is approximately 385,000 kilometers from Earth, Kacır provided the following information:

“This spacecraft weighs approximately 3.5 tons. We will launch this spacecraft from Earth. First, it will travel in an elliptical orbit around Earth. Then, through a series of engine burns, we will place our spacecraft into a lunar transfer orbit and begin its journey to the Moon. As we approach the Moon, it will once again perform engine burns, this time entering lunar orbit and operating there as a lunar satellite. Finally, once it has completed its mission, it will land on the Moon.

The entire process will, God willing, be one that we will follow together with excitement over the course of many months. This achievement will enable us to provide the Turkish people with a deep-space spacecraft that we have developed and produced with a domestic production rate of more than 80 percent. At the same time, under this mission, a hybrid propulsion system—a hybrid rocket engine—that we developed and produced entirely with domestic and national capabilities will be fired in deep space for the first time in the history of the world.

With this mission, Türkiye will make a very important contribution to scientific research for humanity, which is once again turning its attention toward the Moon, and in this way, Türkiye will have a much stronger presence in the space race.”

It will be launched from Kennedy Space Center

Kacır said that the excitement would reach its peak with the launch they are targeting for the first months of 2027.

Kacır stated that they had already completed the entire production process and added:

“We have reached this point by developing and producing all of the software—100 percent of it—domestically and nationally. Now we are sending our spacecraft to the Satellite Systems Integration and Test Center within TUSAŞ. There, all environmental tests, which will take several months, will be completed. Ultimately, once the project has been fully completed, it will be sent to the United States, to Kennedy Space Center, for launch, and afterward we will experience this excitement together.

I would also like to express my gratitude to our Esteemed President, who has strongly supported our National Technology Initiative and National Space Program and, through the confidence he has instilled in us and our nation, has led the implementation of all these ambitious projects.”

Better to wait some 3-5 years at 2030-32 and lunch it with natinal rocket
