Khanesir is a very strategic advance. They lost not only Aleppo city center but also whole north of the country, military bases, energy lines, fortifications, everything that had been used for so many years. And on top of that, they dispersed in such a disorganized manner that they lost more than a hundred military vehicles, from self-propelled air defense systems to aircrafts, and tens of tons of military equipment, in perhaps the biggest fiasco in the history of the Syrian civil war.

Expect these constellation, why we are good with HTS, can some one explain?
Why is USA on good terms with a Marxist terror organization? Because it benefits their interests by having Middle east including Turkey in conflicts.

Why is Russia on good terms with the same terror organization? Becasue it benefits them against Turkey.

Why should Turkey not have the same benefits from terrorists against her own enemies?

Stop listening on western media on who is good or who is bad.

Bashar al-Assad asked Iraq to mediate with Turkiye, Baghdad did not respond.

The Syrian regime sent a security delegation to Antalya, to conduct negotiations with the Turkish side.

6 months ago we were practically begging to cleanse all terrorist organizations together, unfortunately they didnt accept this. Misplaced arrogance is the pinnacle of folly. There is no need to cry now.

A brutal barbaric regime that established itself by dividing the population into factions will not fight, especially when it expects Iranian support because of the defeats that have worn down the military rear guard.

You should always talk to make them think they have something to gain from talks; you can use it to deceive and distract, feign agreement and exact concessions to then reneg on your own terms when you have the upper hand on the ground.

Also take a look on twitter and see what all those pro-Palestinian accounts (affiliated with Hamas, ergo Iran) think about these operations. Trying to court elements from Hamas to gain influence is not a bad thing, but making it explicit and public and using it to shore up domestic support is stupid; that way you arrive at the current situation where you've got former AKP voters parroting Iranian talking points about how horrible our country is.
