All this which are taking place is may be already agreed upon between the major parties, and played out, there seems to be a order too in the sequences of things thats happening. Can we assume that Mr. Erdogan bought the Syrian top military notch, informed US, Isreal, may be Isreal places a condition that Golan heights or a small part would be my flesh, considered and agreed, than having a whole Syria in turmoil, and having the refugees resettled, its a worthy price to be paid. Until Isreal consolidates, no pact between Turkey and Syria, and inorder to make sure that ISIS or other terrorists groups do not avail the left behind weapons in this period Israel bombards and destroyes them consistently, without giving them any space. The Americans and Turkey would have placed how the solution with the sdf should go, most of the areas in their hold freed, particularly bordering Turkey, for the rest a semi autonomous agreement can be arranged, and also the United states take in future Syria, whether they preferred to stay or leave. Than when things started moving they informed the Russians and Iranians it's fruitless, defending your man, already it's tumbling like a pack of cards, don't try we would have our relations intake. All targets achieved Russia, Iran gone, Assad too, everyone is on a win win situation, on the other side. Does it make sense?

Israel was semi-okay with Assad because Assad wasn't some jihadist crazy trying to wipe out the Jews, that's it. They didn't like/support the guy, they just tolerated him because so long as he was there they wouldn't have to fight Syria. Is what it is, national interests, every country does that. The "deal" as you put it was just "mind your own business and we'll mind ours". If the new guy wants to change that dynamic he's more than welcome to, it's not going to go his way though.

Bombing the government buildings and archives was to destroy proof of the deals made with Assad.
or the demographic buildup most of the land occupied by YPG was populated by sunni arabs even now they are made up to 45% of the population with the war is over all those people YPG savagely drove to turkey should be able to return to their homes unless all the document of their existence is destroyed in that case the US and the west can say these are the kurdish lands and even the syrians in turkey may not return to syria since they can claim i am not syrian or the government can claim we have no evidence that this arab is from syria

You seem selective about which posts you comment on. By that I mean you ommit the posts about US ally PKK shooting at civilians, but chose to comment on posts that seems to further balkanize Syria.

I can hardly fault you this as it seems an integral part of being a western white man of sorts.

He is not a Western white man, but a Israeli from Australia.

Have you ever meet white Australians? There is not one Australian on earth who supports genocide and meassmurder from a East-European colony somewhere in the MENA-region.

It is interesting that new Syrian goverment didnt attack advancing IDF

40 years and the iranians/assadists didnt fire a single bullet into the occupied Golan heights. Now were expecting a new government that spent the last 13 years being bombed to oblivion by assadists/russians to overnight declare war on Israel?

The reality is they are going to need to time to first take control of syria, then they are going to need time to build up all the institutions of the state. If they hit Isreal now all that would happen is the isreali airforce would look to destroy them and the americans would attack from the other side.

The reality is they can't fall for cheap tricks, there will be plenty of time to resolve the Isreali occupation of their lands, but that isn't now. Probably they will need at least 10 years of development before they can even think about doing something. Unless of course they want to engage in stupid losing firework shows like the iranians that achieve zero.

Militarily speaking the Turks are just too good. For all of the political failures, every time the military was used whether it be overtly as in the case of idlib or covertly as the case of Azerbaijan, the results have been exceptional. Each and every time, the losers of those conflicts have tried to find all sorts of excuses to explain what they cannot accept.

Go back and look at the Libya campaign, Russian Wagner forces were on the outskirts of tripoli, look what happened once the Turks got involved with such a tiny military footprint, look at their ability to organise the Libyans. That organisation played out again in Syria. Look at how quickly the Hafter/Russian/French forces were rolled back. Libya is across an ocean, the Syrian opposition was across the Turkish border.

Let me also add no matter where the Turks operated the US, EU and Russia opposed it. Even in a place like Ukraine, the US and Germany kept warning the Turks not to sell Ukraine drones even before the war started. No where did the Turks operate that it was supported by any of the major powers.

Assad staying power was always the plan, with him in power the nation destroyed itself and set it up for balkanisation. Today all that remains outside of Syrian control is the YPG occupied lands. But inshallah soon that will change too.

Remember when Isis came onto the scene it effectively destroyed and delegitimised the opposition. And all the Americans to start parroting that the one nation left supporting the rebels Turkiye was an Isis backer, while Assad and Iran were american allies in this fight against Isis.

Everyone won from Isis except Turkiye and the legitimate opposition. Both Turkiye and the opposition were the ones only to be tarnished with the Isis slanders. America, Isreal, Assad, Iran, Russia all benefited immensly from isis. Isis aided their geopolitical ambitions in the region. Only Turkiye and the actual opposition lost from their arrival.

Also wherever we see the dirty PKK we find the Armenians festering. I sometimes suspect that the Kurds who fall for PKK marxist nonsense have been embroiled in a dirty Armenian game.

For those who know,
Will there be any upcoming operation to liberate SDF-controlled areas or will Erdogan wait until Trump takes office and gamble?
