Tel Rifat is a danger and a place from where they launch attacks against Afrin.

Manbij is very important for the infrastructure because from Manbij the Kurds controll the water, the oil and the electricity.

Conquering both Tel Rifat and Manbij would be a major game change in Syria.

Our military is miles better than the Russia's, but we can't brag about OPSEC here. This operation hasn't started and YPG/PKK is already running from their positions, probably hiding in tunnels. We should make those tunnels collapse on their heads instead of risking soldiers lives later in the operation. We need to make better use of the element of surprise. But I guess it doesn't matter much, YPG/PKK is about to get slapped either way.

Fate, it seems, is not without irony! Turkey seems to be pretty much the only way out for a besieged Mother-Russia. She has already given a blessing for this operation, and she will most certainly keep Russian military personnel and Esad‘s marauders clear off the operation sites.

The hard part is to convince the US to betray their worthless allies (yet one other time, lost count!), and to choose between Finland and Sweden as the next member of Nato. Man, we could have asked for more! Nevertheless, it is good enough for now (then again we have got the other one in the balls for the next round!)…
