The Israeli company Elbit announced that it has completed the overall test framework of the battle management system that it had undertaken to install on the three new patrol ships of the Coast Guard. In March 2019, the company announced that it had been awarded a contract by Cantiere Navale Vittoria SpA for the supply of a combat suite and the interconnection of systems for the new patrol boats of the Hellenic Coast Guard. The new systems delivered and installed by Elbit Systems on the new Coast Guard patrol vessels include SPECTRO XR cargo, radar, navigation systems, automatic warship identification system (W-AIS), as well as remote-controlled weapons system (RCWS) with full integration in command and control software. The battle suite is designed to support the future flexible integration of air and ground systems that will allow the patrol boats' operational range to extend beyond direct field of view.
