Turkey’s Ambassador to Algeria Mahinur Ozdemir on Sunday announced the opening of a Turkish consulate in Oran to speed up the visa issuance process.

"The planned consulate in Oran will be added to the visa center in Algiers and will speed up the visa issuance procedure," said the Turkish diplomat during a working session with economic operators from Constantine organized at the headquarters of the chamber of commerce and industry "Rhumel".

After discussing the development of means to speed up the granting of medical visas within 48 hours, Mahinur Ozdemir stressed that Turkey is a strong country in the field of medical tourism, reports the APS agency.
