With Trump launching the recent attack on Venezuela, all eyes are on what he will do next. He's recently reiterated his threat to invade Greenland. This puts NATO into a bit of a conundrum.

Obviously this is a wild scenario, but the EU is rather toothless and the world is looking like one big South Park episode.

I guess what we're all wondering is, what will the aftermath be if he goes forward with it? Will it be the end of NATO? Will the EU collapse, or unite? And if the EU does still stand, will they look at partnering with outside nations?

If he does it, not much will change. EU is dependent on the USA for many things and even if it wasn't dependent none them have the balls to oppose the USA. Just look at how most of Europe has justified their actions in Venezuela.

eitherway when these people fight with each other it gives Turkiye move space to breath. Its a good development if the USA takes control greenland. Europeans always had a snotty attitude thinking the anglo-american world was the same as them, when in reality the anglo types see themselves above the various types found in europe.

But the more they quarrel and fight with each other, the less problems they can cause for us.

BREAKING: President Trump and his advisers are discussing a range of options to acquire Greenland, with White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt saying that "utilizing the U.S. military is always an option."

US discussing "range of options" to acquire Greenland including use of military, White House says

Obviously, he ignored the protests from European leaders.

At this time, US has made claims over Greenland through various channels:

"We need Greenland! For national security."-Trump
“Nobody is gonna fight the U.S. militarily over the future of Greenland.”-Stephen Miller, Deputy Chief of Staff for Policy and Homeland Security Advisor
President Trump wants to buy Greenland - Marco Rubio

According to the Wall Street Journal, Rubio told lawmakers that Trump wants to buy Greenland, not to invade it. He said the White House is using rhetoric to pressure Denmark into negotiations.

Considering the mood in Europe, I don’t see how Denmark could negotiate to sell Greenland, especially since it is an autonomous region with the right to become independent if it wishes to.

And the constant threats won’t make it easier to convince Greenlanders to sell their country, so in the end, if Trump truly wants Greenland, he might only have one option, the military one.

But I think even Trump knows that invading the territory of a fellow NATO ally could have unthinkable consequences.

True. It seems you excelled in history in school. So, I assume you know your country's history very well. True, throughout its history, the United States, first in the Western Hemisphere and then in other parts of the world, has done everything it could, always in its national interests. Unfortunately, I'm not very familiar with your country's history, but even I, as an outsider, know that the United States committed some less-than-honorable acts in China in the 19th century. They weren't alone, but alongside other imperialist sharks from Europe: Great Britain, France, Portugal, and others. And I remember that while the Chinese were fighting against the aforementioned aggressors, Russian troops entered the northern territories and occupied so much Chinese land that only the most greedy Western imperialists could have dreamed of.
Furthermore, a few years later, all the occupiers were forced to leave Chinese lands, except the Russians! Russia has occupied vast territories of China and continues to occupy them to this day.

Why don't you write about it here?

Taipei is China. But don't the Chinese still consider Haishenwai (aka Vladivostok), Boli, Hailanpao, and others their own?

And here's another thing: no matter how imperialistic the United States is, with its aggression against many countries, you must admit, it never had emperors like the Russian emperors, such as Peter I, Alexander I, II, III, and others. It has always remained a republic, not an empire, even considering the vast territories of Mexico it occupied.

And what nation in the world isn't guilty of this?!
Even before you appeared on the forum, the topic of China was raised here. Questions like, "What is this gigantic China?! What can it offer the world?" We already know a little about Trump. We've witnessed his many bizarre antics and even heard of his plans, such as the occupation of Greenland, Panama, and even Canada.
We already know that, under the guise of defending "freedom," "democracy," and LGBT rights, and sometimes without any reason at all, Western countries have committed aggression against other countries, occupying and plundering them.
China will likely soon return Taipei to its home port and inevitably become the most powerful country in the world.
What will China be like? What ideas and values will it offer the world? Will it demand that other countries restrict citizens' freedoms, ban the internet, create communist parties and hand over power to these parties, and ultimately replace bread with rice worldwide? :)
In this sense, China is a complete enigma.

Thanks for your attention, but the China-Russia relationship and the Taiwan problem are too puzzle to explain about the me opinion about them in a short time.

Fortunally, there is an organization called ISW and located in Washington.D.C here, had done a lot of works to anaylse why China keep cooprate with Russia, It also designate a group called "Adversary Entente", that mean those country"undermine US national security and defense; challenge US leadership and global power; split and weaken America’s regional allies; and establish their own mutually empowered regional hegemonies. "

For the territorial disputes between China and Russia, all of them have been resolved within the framework of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization. And, before talk about the land of Russia occupy in history, how would China treat the Mongolia.

The only thing i can say is, if someone has been there, he would not want to living there.

Russia definitely would invade Greenland or in the case that Greenlanders vote for independence, then it probably would become something like Venezuela.
We know that environmentalist, indigenous inclusive story.
As I felt it during the Brexit, Britain and USA thought out very well this plan, so Britain left this so called Union.
They switched off maybe 40 nuclear reactors , lost 500 600bn euros, made dependant themselves on the Russia. Invested into Greece, Armenia, Serbia and Kurdish. Thinking how to build new tanks, for the last 20 years. Turning hard won Netherlands agricultural land into wild life parks. Above all else, Europeans have been only consistent in their Zionism. That has been the only consistent idea.
Who now cares about Greenland? Some blue haired lady, the same one who was the excuse to degenerate all of Europe?
In reality, Europe doesn't care, at least not those who can do something about it
Norway with its wealth can chip in for the French submarines and aircraft craft carries but they won't.
Someone decided that France should give up on Africa for the benefit of Russia and China.
It never occurred to Europe to impower Spain and Portugal in South America, actually they did, by sucking up to the leftist agenda.
So I am fine by this Idea of USA taking over. In any case this Eurotrash have been sucking my blood for the last 35 years.

When Trump goes to Golf in Europe, he makes 18 Hole in Ones and then drinks everyone under the table in the 19th. Consuming only 18 Year old Whiskey.
