We need to get less dependent on Russia, we need to diversify our gas imports. Israeli, Iraqi, Irani, Turkmenistan - anything to lower the Russian influence on Turkey.

We need to decrease dependency on Russian gas, i agree but find another country that is selling it so cheap.

The Trans-Caspian pipeline would create a serious alternative to Russian gas not only in Türkiye but in Europe too, but somehow Iran and Russia are against it because it's "environmentally unacceptable".

Coming from Iran that's doubly hilarious considering what they've been doing to Lake Urmia.

Increase your interest rates and show good faith to stabilise the monetary policy side of things.
He doesn't want to take burden on government budget. Now all burden from valueless Turkish Lira on the shoulders of citizens including low income group.

He doesn't care about how USD/TL rate suffers citizens once he collects tax and spends.

We should buy Russian gas and call it Turkmen gas then sell it to the EU for a higher price.
You're right i mean we are buying Russian gas on discount why not "rebranding" it and sell it to the market price to Europe...

That smells like propaganda to me

Not necessarily, tourists from all over the world comes to visit Turkiye. They know that Turkey’s economy is in bad shape. Also you can’t put all the blame on foreigners for the economic issues, the Turkish government has also a big chunk of responsibility in that mess.

That smells like propaganda to me because westerners don't give a fuck how will turks live plus they are the main culprits behind Turkiye's inflation with their hidden economic attacks. The guy is just doing political anti-government propaganda.
You're right it's propaganda the whole store is photoshopped, the prices are fake too.

I am not saying the economical situation is not shitty right now in TR, everybody knows that. However the fact that western countries themselves are causing this situation while still using it to attack and blame the current government should make yor blood boil, unless you are completely stupid or a traitor to your country, it is very ease to see that Westerners are using their own knife which they used to stab Turkiye and throwing it and the blane to the government.

Well, it's this government's economic policies that make it worse. And there is an economic war on Turkey, we should've been prepared for it as in any war.

Well covid is everywhere but not everyone effected as we do, nobody decreasing the interest rates illogically as in our country.
I think before 19%to 14% that was still good, cheaper lira for current account surplus but I can’t understand the policy after last year

Check this map and see how small our economy is now. How much it has shrunk while how much everyone else has grown.
Few years ago we were ahead of Iran, Netherlands, Poland, Taiwan, Indonesia and Saudi Arabia. Target 15 years ago was to reach 30000 dollars per person nominal by 2023. That would have meant 2.5 trillion dollar economy now.

Embarrassing. Mismanagement is the only thing to blame.

I agree. Turkey has unfortunately lost 20 years. Before that 60 years were lost. Norhing will change with the new administration in 2023. Again years will be lost. Turkey will stagnate with all sorts of problems, most of which self created. People simply get what they deserve in this world.
