@tcsavunma, in his statement, claimed that the Offshore Patrol Ship (ADKG) project will be completed in a shorter time and at a cost 40% lower than the calculated one. It is aimed that the first ship of the project will be put into service in May 2023, and the weapons and sensors will be domestic.

Single barrel 35mm and RAM type CIMS share same platform on top weapon system sits, would be nice to have a common platform so that ships could be modular in weapons load out to mission specific duties.

I wonder if it is technically possible that two faced rotating naval radar.

For instance Cenk-S rotating together with Mar-D which is X band.

İt would give 360 degree coverage at real time. Also your CIWS wouldn't require additional radars.

Although 4 Fixed panel AESA radars is best solution , Rotating two radar would be cheaper as well as using two different bands would be better.
Moreover when you need to hide your ship , you could turnoff Cenk-S and switch MAR-D with less emition .

There are Russian and Chinese old gen two faced naval radars.

İmagine Cenk-S band and MAR-D X band are rotating together. There would be no gap against Anti-ship missiles for reasonable cost.
Why not you think to use the many of the cenk-s tr modules for x band search. We are already know that he have 2x times bigger than smart-s mk2 radar. Behalf of that a multifunction radar can be good for him which about 300 km s band range and 100 km range in x band.

What you are offering is one faced dual band rotating radar.

While radar antenna rotating, air defense systems could miss missile threats at short range. That's why new trend is fixed 4 radar panels.
Facing such a complex threat set, a rotating volume search radar solution cannot be relied upon to deliver the necessary battlespace awareness.
CENK-S must be too much expensive to multiple 4.

Rotating two faced radar would give maximum awareness for SHORAD with reasonable cost.
Frontal CENK-S and rear MAR-D would be cheaper. But i don't know if two radar antennas could give good performance together. Why not?

Smart-s Mk2 + Mar-d good solution. And also Cenk-s alone a enough system for all kind of targets who owned by our rivals. 4000 trm supported aesa s band verywell .

On the other hand for short range awarness irst system+flir will be good. Just because our ciws and rams guided by ıır systems . Main radar for enough to generate air picture

1 Milgem and 7 FAC for 222million dollars to be sold to Morocco.
According to this news!
I think they have mislaid a ”1” in front of that figure!
Even if they are asking to buy the old Kilic-1 boats it doesn’t tally. Milgem corvette is 260million dollars just by itself.
We will find out if it is hoax or real, and involves what, soon.

I'm not an expert - would there be any interference in operations with such a setup?

Just because she is based on a corvette design, they refer to her as a corvette.
I looked up the dictionary meaning of a corvette:
1 : a warship ranking in the old sailing navies next below a frigate.
2 : a highly maneuverable armed escort ship that is smaller than a destroyer.
3 : with its modest fuel capacity and marginal seakeeping, a corvette isn’t suitable for long-range operations.

So in reality any warship that fits in to this description (500tons to 3000tons) is a corvette by definition.
Our OPVs will be corvettes. So are our 4 dost class coast guard ships.

Now we may look at the definition of the warship;
- a ship supplied with guns, for use in war.
