According to French newspaper la tribune the UAE and France are negotiating for a contract to supply the UAE with the rafale fighter jet after the successful prospects with greece, Croatia, Switzerland, Indonesia and Egypt and and the rafale deal is being negotiated since 2008 with the UAE
