Baykar should not be allowed to become a partner in GCAP unless the Turkish state officially becomes a partner in the project.
Baykar will be not a partner of the GCAP but they will partner with Leonardo for the LoyalWingmen.

GCAP partners like Italy and UK are partners in F35 program, and UK especially was significantly involved and they operate it. So they definitely have experience towards it. UK is the only Tier 1 partner with significant input to stealth and avionics.I did, they are talking about the 6th gen fighter jet and Baykar Joining the program.
My question still remains, where is the 5th gen that they are talking about 6th gen?
Does Europe have a 5th gen fighter jet already that we dont know of?
And how does AI make it 6th gen?
So they are actually a partner in GCAP.Baykar will be not a partner of the GCAP but they will partner with Leonardo for the LoyalWingmen.
Did it explain it as a ''stand alone'' system or as part of a doctrine?EDR magazine
And in both cases the main takeaway is that warfare doctrines changes so fast. It’s a paradigm shift."Drones are useless because of AD" is just another version of "tanks are useless because of drones" and nothing more.
Neither will lose their place on the battlefield, not until the entire battlefields are completely unmanned and every meter is covered by AD. Tanks are necessary to provide cover, fire support and hunt other armour, and drones are useful for reconnaissance and strike on targets of opportunity at worst and proper targets at best with stand off munitions. And in both cases the main takeaway is that warfare doctrines changes so fast. You adopt your approach just to realize that your opponent came up with technologiCal feat to discard your freshly implemented tactics.
This turned into an infinite loop.
My two cents is that neither tanks nor drones are dead. Not yet anyways.
They simply try adopting to this fast pace change on a static battlefield. On a daily basis.
I still believe that at a fast and very concerted multi dimensional warfare situation both tanks and various drones would be very lethal and decisive as rapid strike elements.
Again, As I underlined at my post, these assets written off due to a wrong campaign. I do expect changes in both tanks and drones, or rather a more distinct separation than we have today, the same way there used to be light and heavy tanks before main battle tanks became the norm as a compromise between different needs.
Right! You can bring a switchblade to a battlefield and create a tactic to support a switchblade brigade with various assets and organize, fight to achieve your goal as long as elements move in unison.
