When I heard about the competition, "Will the winner be determined by ranking?" I thought.

> According to the information I have received, there will be no ranking like 1st or 3rd place.
> Contracts will be made with companies that meet the specified criteria.
> Products found sufficient will be put into use.

So this isn't necessarily a competition but more like a hurdle for each UGV

As these projects are relatively small and the technology involved need to be fostered multiple efforts will not be wasteful.

Forest fire in Marmaris detected by TB2

t turned out that the wildfire was detected from a distance of 57 kilometers with a heat-sensitive UAV used by the ministry against forest fires. DHA reached the image recorded by the unmanned aerial vehicle as soon as the smoke first started to rise in the area close to the settlements. According to the footage, the UAV, which first detected the temperature from 57 kilometers, approached the area and transmitted the images it recorded live to the fire control center in Ankara and other fire centers in the region. While the images recorded by the UAV when it first detected the fire were in the form of dots, the image regarding the size of the fire became clearer as it approached the area. After the first detection of the UAV, the officials in the region were sent to the area, and the fire was intervened in as little as 10 minutes, and the flames that could affect larger areas, including the LPG tank of the hotel, were extinguished.

THREE MORE UAVS ADDED THIS YEAR

On the other hand, the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry started using UAVs, which have an impact on forest fires, for the first time last year. Three drones were purchased at the beginning of the year; they started to be used in Adana, Antalya, and Muğla. UAVs, which take to the sky from the morning hours, monitor the forested areas until late hours. The images transmitted live by the UAVs from the areas of responsibility are watched moment by moment by the officers in the fire control centers. It was stated that the UAVs aim to detect forest fires early, as in the Marmaris fire.

This is the integration area of Baykar SİHA R&D and Production Center. Our interns work with our engineers and technicians.

Firms that do not provide internships to young people, do not allow their interns and employ them in a project-oriented manner have no future in the changing world.

As for Equipment:
- 3 Flying Car Prototypes
- 3 AKINCI Serial Products ( S2, S3 and S4. AKINCI S1 is already flying. S5 and S6 not visible but needed for 1st Group of Delivery until end of the Year)
- 10 TB2s (Various Stages of Assembly)

This Factory is reaching its limits in terms of capacity. that many people and Equipment so close to each other isn't healthy.
They are waiting for the Construction of the Second Factory nearby.

Both are demonstrators, like all other projects around the world. Only the Chinese have advanced pretty decently.

Once you have advanced the technology to a level you can start to make some useful designs.

That's the biggest BS I have heard about flying cars.
China has eHang that is basically a drone with open rotors that is unfit to carry people.
China has Terrafugia that they have bough from the US.
Both are useless crap that have no wisdom in them.

There are 400 designs in the world already and many of them have their own IP which will be denied from newcomers to have. So the earliest you have your IP the wider geography you can address. 99% of foreign IP holders do not apply for IP in Turkey so we have more freedom for the Turkish market but if we want to target US, Europe and China markets we need to look beyond local.
Several companies have already gone public in the stock market and have over $5bn market value each. Joby has $6.6, which is the top one.

They are preparing to launch passenger services in 2024.
While transportation safety agencies are likely to give them licenses by 2023 they still have a lot of certification criteria to pass through which is not a given. Even the top one Joby is getting a lot of criticism.

This industry needs more ingenuity that it has already received.

"Flying cars" are a dumb waste of money anyway. Just call them what they are - personal helicopters or something approximating that. A "true" flying car would be a regular car that can also fly or a car with anti-gravity capabilities. That's not what any of this is.

Instead of wasting resources on meme tech that will never take off, Turkey should invest in R&D in magnetically-powered flight or something.

A car is a carriage, an automobile only drives on roads.
A flying car is ideally a vertical take off flying machine than can also be driven on the road at any speed whether fast or slow. A slow driving and vertical take off flyer can be made with current technology but it is not the ideal condition for efficiency.

My ideal flying car is actually not one unit. You fly to a vertiport with a flyer and than transfer into a driving car at the same location which will take 15 seconds if you are slow. Imagine one person flyers and one person drivers that you can find in every neighborhood of Istanbul which number near 1000 now. If you can find such a location at walking distances everywhere in the city it is a transportation dream come true.

With the feedback from the field, the Turkish Armed Forces made a series of requests to the Defense Industry companies after the Karabakh war. I (Yusuf Akbaba) would say that they are bombarded with demands. They analyzed the war very well and demanded new types of missiles and kamikaze UAVs.
