Rada recognizes Crimean Tatars, Karaites, Krymchaks as indigenous peoples of Ukraine
The Verkhovna Rada has adopted a law on the indigenous peoples of Ukraine.

I guess this is a move against everything Sovjet now Russia stands for.
Crimea is legally still under Ukraine, by recognizing Tatars as indigenous people they're recognizing historic ownership/belonging if this starts a global recognition. Russia will start facing genocide charges. IMO
Especially considering how Sovjet moved Turkic people far away from the areas historically.
