The Ukrainian Armed Forces are forced to risk Abrams tanks: Forbes announced losses

Counterattacking Without Artillery, Ukraine's M-1 Tanks Are Exposed

The Ukrainian 47th Mechanized Brigade’s artillery-shortage is forcing it to fight close instead of far—and risk its U.S.-made M-1s, M-2s and Assault Breachers.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces have come up with a cunning tactic for using Abrams tanks at the front

Ukraine’s American-Made M-1 Tanks Could Help Other Tanks See Farther

The Ukrainians have always sought to use their Western vehicles in teams with other tanks or fighting vehicles. Ukraine’s M-1s should enhance this interoperability.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces are forced to risk Abrams tanks: Forbes announced losses

This is the result of the stupidity of the Trumpist Party (former Republican party or GOP). By withholding US aid and the delivery of artillery shells from US stockpiles, Ukraine is starved of ammunition and it loses much more expensive equipment it previously received from the US.

In the end, the US will need to send them even more expensive aid to compensate for the avoidable losses that were incurred because Trumpists refused to do what was right at the right time. The stupidity of the Trumpist party will cost Americans more taxpayer dollars, despite their claims that they are opposing spending taxpayers dollars for Ukraine.

It is clear that the Russians have had only successes, but no significant advance of troops. “And as soon as they break out of the urban zone of Donetsk...” How to understand this? Your troops have been fighting near Donetsk for two years already?!

yes 2 years donetsk was heavily foritified and had enough time for 8 years since 2014 to be built. usually fotified places take quite some time but if there are open fields and barely any fortifications to the north the speed process might kick up a notch. What other reason would European leaders start panicking now about sending troops to Ukraine than before?

Colleague, when our tanks exploded in Armenian minefields on the first day of the war in Karabakh, by the evening Russian sites launched a song that, you see, the Baku Blitzkrieg failed, and that the Azerbaijan Army fell into a trap, etc. etc.
At the same time, as it turned out, Baku did not have a plan at all, say, “Kyiv in 3 days.” But the Russians themselves composed this mournful song and sang it throughout the 44 days of the war...

I dont understand this jabber of the armenian conflict if they dont like armeninans themselves and why users here keep quoting a US army general that said 3 days but want to believe it came from Russias's own mouth? Russia's General Shoigu estimated like 2025 the military operation will end. That is the only thing a Russian military official gave of anything timeframe related.

All of the territory that is now under your control was occupied in the first two weeks of the war.
The lightning flight of Russian troops from near Kyiv and Kherson...apparently, this is a real Russian blitzkrieg

yeah Zelenksy said 31,000 ukrainians died, with that kind of number they wouldnt have a manpower shortage and bumped up the average age for ukrainians in the war to 40 + years old. It might be a little bit more difficult to further halt russians until ukraine get the manpower problem resolved. I would believe in fairy tales with you and the rest of some users if this was happening in Russia instead of ukraine but it isnt.

Since the lancet was super effective according to the lostarmour site. They have started mass production for these drones as well.

The loitering kamikaze UAV "Scalpel" has entered mass production, and by the end of the year it will be released in a large series.

This was reported by the Vostok Design Bureau, which developed the drone.

During the special operation, the Lancet kamikaze drone became the most effective means of destroying enemy equipment. It hits both long-range SPGs and well-protected tanks. In the fall of last year, even the MiG-29 and Su-25 fighters of the Ukrainian Air Force fell victim to it.

But to destroy all enemy targets, the Lancets are not enough, notes columnist Vlad Shlepchenko.

The Scalpel was created as a cheaper and simplified analogue of the Lancet. His task is to take on the extermination of the equipment on which it is a pity to spend "X": pickup trucks and loaves, on which the Armed Forces deliver food and ammunition. They can be used to hit light armored vehicles and houses where someone is "rummaging," Tsargrad quotes the analyst.

The drone was created as a "universal soldier", and the payload weight does not exceed 5 kilograms, but this is quite enough for most tasks.

Tests of the UAV started in the fall of 2023, engineers redesigned the catapult, reducing the deployment time by three times, which will make it possible to quickly escape from a retaliatory strike, Shlepchenko summed up.

The mission took place in cooperation with the Naval Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and with the support of the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine,” it says in the message.

The lancet is good; It is unlikely that anyone here will object that this is a truly effective weapon. It seems that he is even more formidable than your entire legendary Black Sea Fleet. But, you must admit, when your ships are sinking one after another, it is somehow wrong to talk about the advantage of a drone.
What's going on with your fleet? It seems that there are still 2 years of war ahead, and there will be nothing left of him.
But these are not only Black Sea Fleet ships, you also transported a whole bunch of ships from the Baltic and Caspian Seas there. And the Ukrainians drown them like blind kittens.
At the end of my post, let me once again express my admiration for your Lancet. My respects!

yeah, taking down ships is the only thing achievable for Ukraine because the russians want to stay around like retards next to an enemy coast and be used as punching bags. Not even a NATO country would be this stupid if they suffer with occasional collision accidents out at sea.

Footage has appeared of an attack by Ukrainian naval drones on the presumably Russian patrol ship "Sergey Kotov" of Project 22160. Project 22160 ships were stopped being built due to the discrepancy between their tactical and technical qualities and combat operating conditions. Previously, the patrol ship “Sergey Kotov” of the Russian Black Sea Fleet repelled attacks by Ukrainian naval drones, but it is not possible to repel an attack of about 10 drones at the moment. The attack was carried out on the night of March 4-5 by maritime drones “Magura V5” of the “Group 13” unit; information about everything is on the channel. According to Ukrainian media, the ship was damaged in the stern, right and left sides, the crew was rescued, this is not officially confirmed by Russian media, there is no footage of the ship sinking.

Footage of the impact of the Russian kamikaze drone "Lancet-51" on the Ukrainian portable electronic warfare station Plastun RP-3000 in the Zaporozhye region. The Plastun electronic warfare system was developed in 2019 by the Infozashchit company and operates at a range of up to 15 kilometers. Electronic warfare is designed to identify communications equipment, determine the location and suppression of UAVs, determine the coordinates of electronic warfare stations and to fix digital control channels and information transmission. The Plastun RP-3000 electronic warfare station weighs 39 kilograms and deploys in 20 minutes, technical information is on the screen. As a result of a strike from the Lancet-51 drone, the Plastun electronic warfare station caught fire.

1) it is easy to identify HIMARS from any Russian made MLRS systems because they have alot of rocket tubes, HIMARS has a rather unique missile launcher appearance.
2) airburst detonation from Tornado-S was used and their sources have stated they recently destroyed patriots and nasam with those missiles.
3)cant claim its a decoy if its destruction recorded afterwards show one of its missiles going off after it exploded.

1. The Russian ISR has improved so much in this war, congratulations on the very first HIMARS kill
2. It took the Russians almost 2 full years to destroy the very first HIMARS highlighting what kind of Potemkin army the Russian army was before the full-scale war
3. Now that the Tornado-S has proven able to take out HIMARS, I'm waiting for the US MIC to come up with something to answer this and maintain their overmatch doctrines.
