Well, Its seems to be a fake

Maria Ovsyannikova is called a hero today. Tightly sitting on the dopamine needle of emotional news, users around the world shed tears of anti-war "demarche", the Guardian placed her on the first spread, Facebook exploded with likes and comments thanking her for her citizenship, and "Russian liberals" on Twitter vying scribbled how she "saved reputation of the Russians. SUDDENLY TV recordings appeared, and her video message immediately sparkled among the "Russian liberals" in social networks. "Ukrainian dad", "I voted for Navalny" (to whom Abkhazia is Russia, and Crimea is not a sandwich to give away), "one person is to blame." Let me remind you that this is against the backdrop of the introduction of the fifth package of sanctions and Russia's requests for military assistance from China. Don't you find it strange?

Destroyed Kharkov and Mariupol? Bombings? Shelling? Corpses? No, the heroic Russian presenter was not afraid to open her eyes to the truth to the Russians who kill Ukrainians. For eight years I was driving a propaganda agenda and then I REALLY SIGHTED. REALLY?

And everyone immediately believed that this was a "live broadcast". In a country where the meetings of the Security Council and the Fuhrer's military appeals were recorded in advance. Russian liberals are screaming about heroism and amnesties, publications everywhere about where Maria has disappeared, tabloids admire. And that's it. Russians are no longer occupiers and Nazis, no, it's Putin and the damn TV to blame. They were all deceived there. For many years they have not been allowed to see the truth. Sorry, sorry, lift the sanctions, we are not to blame.

The whole world ate shit and propaganda manipulation, shed tears, was touched and forgot about Ukraine, looked at the Russians with different eyes. And you, all the likes and admirers, are accomplices. Recognize and realize. This is how it works. And you are naive and illiterate children who pecked at the swindler of professional manipulators of emotions.
Agree. Can't describe with numbers how many times I've seen people talk about how only Putin wants this war and how Russians don't want war. Putin's approval ratings (by independent sources) have never dropped below 65%, and currently stand at 71% positive, 21% disagree. Putin has no opposition, because the Russian people don't dislike him and his party. It's true, he saved Russia from Yeltsin, a "president" who couldn't go a day without being caught drunk on the street. There were terrorist attacks in Russian cities and economic despair after the fall of the Soviet Union. Putin cleaned everything up: He forcefully took control of Chechnya, He created a ring of wealthy oligarchs that boosted the Russian economy and saved it from collapse. And the Russian people loved their president, who removed the chaos from Russia.

The only, albeit weak opposition Russia has, is the democratic movement Navalny runs. That movement is only popular in cities (where Russia is a very much agriculture- and rural-based country) and only in young audiences. It's a fact, Russia is an ageing country, and the average Russian person has no quarrel with Putin. In fact, it is highly likely they support him. They are fed constant propaganda in a way where in Russia most people still call this a special operation and not a war, because this is what they are told by the media.

Is it their fault, that they are unable to get all the facts, to have an independent opinion based on current events? No, of course not, but it's bullshit to say that most Russians don't want the war or don't like Putin. Because they absolutely do.

UN chief: Ukraine war hitting poor nations reliant on wheat

The United Nations chief is warning that Russia’s war on Ukraine is holding “a sword of Damocles” over the global economy

Secretary-General Antonio Guterres told reporters that “Russia and Ukraine represent more than half of the world’s supply of sunflower oil and about 30 percent of the world’s wheat” and that “grain prices have already exceeded those at the start of the Arab Spring and the food riots of 2007-2008.”

He told reporters that 45 African and least developed countries import at least one-third of their wheat from Ukraine and Russia, and 18 of them import at least 50%. These countries include Egypt, Congo, Burkina Faso, Lebanon, Libya, Somalia, Sudan and Yemen, he said.

“All of this is hitting the poorest the hardest and planting the seeds for political instability and unrest around the globe,” Guterres warned, saying the most vulnerable country had already been trying to recover from the COVID-19 pandemic and contend with record inflation, rising interest rates and looming debt before the Ukraine war.

David Beasley, executive director of the U.N. World Food Program, told The Associated Press during a visit to the western Ukrainian city of Lviv that 50% of the grain the agency buys to feed “the 125 million people we reach on any given day, week or month” comes from Ukraine, as does 20% of the world’s supply of corn.

“So (the war) is going to have a dynamic global catastrophic impact,” Beasley said.

And this isn't even current. Not to mention, the USA just announced another $650 million in new spending for Ukranian weapons and Congress approved up to $3 billion in existing American weapons that are approved to be transferred. Furthermore, the EU has approved another $500 million in defense / humanitarian spending for Ukraine. Other countries, such as Australia ($70 million) have simply transferred money to NATO, to buy weapons for Ukraine, on their behalf.

The Ukrainian government announced another $2 billion dollars for their own army, today, as well. You can imagine a good portion of that is going to weapons and support systems as well.

We don't even have an accurate figure of what countries like Turkey have sent, or what they're willing to send moving forward, but one can imagine that they're going to keep as many Bayraktars and ordinance heading into Ukrainian service as they can.

If a peace deal is not struck, Ukraine has the financial backing to make this a long, drawn out conflict. Both the EU and USA will keep giving money as long as their is Ukranian appetite for it. Neighbouring countries such as Poland, Finland and Sweden, who would benefit from a weekened Russia, will also send whatever they can afford over the coming weeks. Even if it isn't announced publically.
