South Korea
has agreed to "lend" the United States
500,000 155mm artillery shells. South Korea has made it clear that it doesn't want their shells going to Ukraine, but what this does is backfill American inventories so that they can send 500,000 more of their own shells to Ukraine. That's 100 days worth of shells at a 5000 per day usage rate.
South Korea has reached an agreement to lend the United States 500,000 rounds of 155mm artillery shells that could give Washington greater flexibility to supply Ukraine with ammunition, a South Korean newspaper reported on Wednesday.
