Found this video purely by chance because danish newspaper reported that North Korean vessel sank.

They have some pretty good stuff from the Ukraine war. Also videos of how Ukraine is targetting loitering ammo and shaheed and such.

The long video also has a test launch of US N missile from some of missile silo at 1h 26m. According to what they said it flew 7000 km.

Footage of a Russian FPV drone attacking a Ukrainian VAB armored personnel carrier, it is worth noting that there are fewer of them. The video was filmed in the Kharkiv region of Ukraine. The VAB armored personnel carrier was developed in France by Renault and Savier in 1976 and was produced in different versions. As a result of the attack by Russian FPV drones, the Ukrainian VAB armored personnel carrier was destroyed.

Footage of a strike by a Russian, presumably 300mm Tornado-S MLRS missile on a Ukrainian airfield near the village of Barkovo, Dnipropetrovsk region of Ukraine. The airfield housed An-2 aircraft, reportedly used for logistical purposes and to intercept Geranium drones. It is possible that they were simply used for agricultural purposes. Judging by the accuracy of the strike, a Tornado-S missile with GLONASS guidance was used. As a result of the missile strike, the An-2 aircraft received shrapnel damage.

An episode of the use of the Russian BMP-3 in combat operations in Ukraine. The location of the shooting is not reported. In the video, the Russian BMP-3 delivers an assault group and provides cover for it during landing. After the assault group lands, the BMP-3 retreats to its original positions. In this version, the BMP-3 is equipped with homemade protection like the Tsar-mangal. At the end of the video, an episode with the storming of one of the houses is added.

Footage of strikes by Russian kamikaze drones "Geran" and ballistic missiles Iskander on Kyiv, on the night of May 24. The video also shows the work of the Ukrainian air defense Patriot, made in the United States. As reported by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, 245 drones out of 250 were shot down. But Ukrainian journalist and video blogger Anatoly Shariy published a video recording 20 strikes by Geran drones, shown in an accelerated version. The strikes by Geran drones were aimed primarily at the Antonov plant, where, among other things, UAVs are assembled. A representative of the command of the Ukrainian Air Force, Yuriy Ignat, reported that Russia had modernized the Iskander missiles, now the Patriot air defense cannot effectively work against them. According to him, the Iskander missiles now fire off radar decoys and attack the target along a quasi-ballistic trajectory. That is, now the missile maneuvers and does not approach the target in a straight line. As a result, Patriot air defense systems cannot effectively calculate the missile's interception point.

Russian financial position continues to deteriorate

- gold reserves down from 600 tons at war start to around 200 tons now
- payment on maturing bonds (a government promise to pay a certain amount on a certain date in the future) cannot be covered by selling new bonds to international investors
- published inflation rate does not sound real, given the sustained record 21% base rate. Around 20% inflation rate ties in better with the 21% base rate than the published rate of around 10%
- etc etc

Basically Russia is down to selling its already severely depleted assets to finance the war.

Russia needs to be bled out until it collapses economically. It is the only way to stop its expansionist dreams. They need to disintegrate into smaller countries and lose more territories, so that next time when they think to invade and annex something, they would look back and remember the defeat.

Bloomberg is reporting that the military aid that Joe Biden "surged" to Ukraine at the end of his Presidency will run out in the summer months and that as expected, Donald Trump will not announce further aid to Ukraine through donation. The same sources are reporting that the U.S. will keep intelligence sharing and twrget acquisition in place, however, as it's vital to Ukraine's defensive effort.

The European Union 🇪🇺 is now preparing to do what Trump has wanted all along. They're preparing to purchase weapons from the United States, for continual direct transfer to Ukraine, to supplement the weapons that are being produced domestically in Ukraine and across Europe. The EU will also look to Britain 🇬🇧, Norway 🇳🇴, Canada 🇨🇦, Australia 🇦🇺 and Japan 🇯🇵 to continue supporting Ukraine through fiscal means and weapons transfers (including possible weapons purchases from the U.S.).

As I've been mentioning for months, this had been Trump's goal all along. He fundamentally believes that this is Europe's war and that USA 🇺🇸 should be taking a back seat and spending it's resources in the Pacific and the Middle East, for potential conflict with Iran 🇮🇷 and China 🇨🇳. Trump has long been frustrated by the Europeans for shirking their NATO spending responsibilities and he's been angling to force them into a situation where they had to start paying back the United States for carrying an outsized percentage of Europe's defense burden. He wants vast sums of European money being spent in the United States to support the Ukrainian war effort. Many U.S. defense contractors have massively scaled up production of their weapon systems and ammunitions and Trump wants to harness the opportunity to sell to Europe, for Ukraine.

Personally, I support this idea. It would be better in my mind if the U.S. we're still contributing to the war effort, even at a reduced rate, but I'd consider the sale of U.S. weapons to the EU, Ukraine and the rest of the allied coalition to fend off the Russians, a win. Europe is still several years away from reaching manufacturing capacity to outpace Russia in many areas. Ukraine has also dramatically expanded its own defense production capacity, however, it won't be able to keep up to it's much larger neighbour. The United States, however, has enormous production capacity, across a wide range of weapon systems and Ukraine is already well versed in the use of many of them.

I'm calling on Ukraine 🇺🇦 + European Union 🇪🇺 + Britain 🇬🇧 + Norway 🇳🇴 + Canada 🇨🇦 + Australia 🇦🇺 + Japan 🇯🇵 to make an immediate combined purchase of at least $25 billion usd worth of weapons for Ukraine in 2025, with further orders in 2026.

I think that the US will welcome a continuation of the war now ($$$ for US). Putin the same (but on a reduced scale involving less cost). The economists and analysts I read foresee 'turning off the wartime economy' as something that could precipitate a collapse of the Russian economy. Additionally Putin faces the problem of how to sell the idea of victory to the Russians with large parts of the Russian* oblasts of Kherson and Zaporizhia being occupied by Ukrainian forces.

* according to Russian law

PS I hope that Putin's destruction of the 'civilian' side of the Russian economy continues through the sustained yet unsustainable cost of the war. Cuts in spending in non-war areas such as education, medical care - pretty much all the services and infrastructure support for which a government is responsible are to be expected in coming months in an attempt to contain running a high government budget deficit.

I am pleased, too, that Russians, most of whom support the murder of their neighbours in Ukraine, are starting to suffer consequences. For example, apartment values in Moscow have fallen every single month since Russia attacked Ukraine. As new buyers cannot afford property loans 3, 4 or 5 times more expensive than they were, the fall in property values is likely to accelerate. Property is just one sector on the civil side of the economy that risks collapsing.

I will celebrate people who support Russia making their neighbours homeless by destroying their homes being made homeless themselves.

Footage of the attack of the Russian drone "Orion" on the Ukrainian 155-mm self-propelled howitzer "Bogdana". The video was filmed in the vicinity of the village of Petrovskoye, Sumy region of Ukraine. The self-propelled howitzer "Bogdana" is currently one of the most common in the Ukrainian army, it is produced in Ukraine and is mounted on many different chassis. Technical information about the UAV "Orion" in the link to the video in the comments to the video. The strike on the self-propelled howitzer "Bogdana" was carried out by the Russian missile "X-UPLA", as a result of which the Ukrainian howitzer "Bogdana" was destroyed.

Footage of a mid-air collision between two Ukrainian, presumably An-196 "Lyuty" drones. The video was filmed in the Lipetsk region of Russia. The "Lyuty" kamikaze drones were developed by the Ukrainian company Ukroboronprom in 2023. The supposed reasons for the collision of the drones are incorrect routing to the target, or automatic maneuvering upon detection of air defense radiation, which led to the collision. The impact of Russian electronic warfare is also possible.

Germany, the United Kingdom, France, and the USA have lifted the restrictions on the range of weapons supplied to Ukraine, Chancellor Friedrich Merz announced.

“There are no longer any range restrictions for weapons delivered to Ukraine — not by the British, not by the French, not by us. Not by the Americans either,” Merz said at the WDR European Forum. Ukraine can now also defend itself by, for example, attacking military positions in Russia.

“We call that in military jargon ‘long-range fire,’ meaning equipping Ukraine with weapons that can attack military targets in the hinterland.” This, he said, is the crucial difference between the military leadership of aggressor Russia and Ukraine: While the latter targets military objectives, Russia deliberately attacks civilians.

Defense on Russian territory
“A country that can only oppose an aggressor within its own territory is not sufficiently defending itself. And this defense of Ukraine is now also taking place against military infrastructure on Russian territory,” said the Chancellor.

This means that Ukraine can defend itself, “for example by attacking military positions in Russia.”

Germany will “do everything” to continue supporting Ukraine militarily, Merz announced. This is also why he recently traveled to Kyiv with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, French President Emmanuel Macron, and Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk as part of a “coalition of the willing.”

Recent attacks by Russia shows that Ukraine's airdefence is detoriarating.

It is also the number of Russian drones that is increaseing, so it is natural for Ukrainian air defense to struggle more when drone waves are larger. This Weekend, Russia had its largest air attacks since the start of the war:

”The Russian bombardment on Sunday night included 355 drones, Yuriy Ihnat, head of the Ukrainian air force’s communications department, told The Associated Press, calling it the biggest of the war.

The previous night, Russia fired 298 drones and 69 missiles in what Ukrainian officials said was the largest combined aerial assault of the conflict. From Friday to Sunday, Russia launched around 900 drones at Ukraine, officials said.”

The Netherlands 🇳🇱 announced the delivery of the last batch 24 F-16s for Ukraine. The final batch was delivered to Belgium 🇧🇪 today where they will be ferried to Ukraine by their own combat pilots.

The Netherlands also announced that they have started to train a new batch of Ukrainian F-16 pilots. The number currently being trained is undisclosed. The Dutch have retained approximately 18 of their F-16s, many of which are being used to train Ukrainian pilots. These units may eventually be sent to Ukraine to reinforce Ukraine's inventory when the Dutch training mission is over.

We publish an episode of a battle between a Russian assault group and two Ukrainian FPV drones, the location of the shooting is not reported. As a result of the battle, both drones were shot down. Some sources report that there was only one drone.
