They carried out the largest UAV-FPV operation in the history of Ukraine. The Olenya airbase in Murmansk (left) and the Belaya airbase in Irkutsk were hit. Many Tu-95, Tu-22, An-26 and A-50 aircraft were targeted.

Dyagilevo airbase in Ryazan oblast was also reportedly targeted. This base also hosts strategic bombers. The GUR may have carried out the largest intelligence and drone operation in history.

This is Irkutsk region, near the Belaya airbase. Ukrainian intelligence carries an FPV-kamikaze drone in a vehicle, which in turn sends the drones to the Belaya airbase. The driver was detained.

I think the uncle who spoke was waiting for the trucks. "The truck reached the point - they said they would meet us, but drones flew out of the truck."

Ukrainian media published footage of Ukrainian FPV drone strikes on the Belaya airbase in the Irkutsk region of Russia. Russian Tu-95 bombers were stationed at the Belaya airbase. According to eyewitnesses, a truck pulled up to a gas station, FPV drones started taking off from it, the driver of one of the trucks was found dead. It is worth noting that such an FPV attack cannot be repelled. Due to the fact that no air defense can shoot down FPV drones now. Also, such an attack was not expected in the rear, a well-trained sabotage group was working. It is possible that the group includes Russian residents, it is also possible that the truck contains equipment for remote launch and control of FPV drones. Judging by the video, as a result of the attack, 4 Tu-95 bombers were damaged, most likely destroyed. The Russian Olenya airbase in the Murmansk region was also attacked. The base reportedly had air defense, including the Pantsir air defense missile system, but it cannot hit FPV drones. Eyewitnesses counted 11 FPV drones.

These numbers do seem exaggerated. I doubt they hit 92 aircraft at Belaya and 56 at Olenya. From what it is said in the news, Ukraine claims to have hit about 40 Russian aircraft across all the attacks, which is still a huge number, but nowhere near the above.

Anyway, this attack was amazing and the damage is huge compared to the cost of the attack. We need to see more like this!

I worry if those numbers are real and Putin will take extreme measures for retribution ...

If Russia wants to play „hardball“ they can do. If they wants to escalate with nukes, Wests must Nuke Russia immediately without any warnings.
Till now , Ukraine fights with handicap. Let Ukraine unleashed the ‚Dragon‘.

This is one of the first of its kind. A very bold attack which may be seen as a great win for Ukrainians but unfortunately I feel like Russia's response will be devastating.
One of the biggest concerns is that the magnitude of a response to an attack that targeted the nuclear capable arsenal of a country like Russia.
This war needs to end immediately!

It isn't. Same Olenya airbase was hit last year as well. Scope of the attack is much larger and sophisticated, but most of the airbases that were hit were also hit earlier during the war as well.
