Right now its russia who is missing mapower to attack.
Both belligerents have manpower problems, I think. The big rise in crude price with a US waiver on restrictions on Russian sales will be increasing Russia's revenue enormously. Some of that could be used to raise the premium paid to volunteers signing up. Bad news for Ukraine, at least in the short term.

Germany 🇩🇪 has has announced that they've now completed the training of 600 Ukrainian military personnel on the use of the RCH-155mm self-propelled howitzer. The training is being completed in Germany and is set to continue. Ukraine is set to receive 54 units of RCH-155mm between 2025-2028. The first 6 units were to be kept in Germany for training, with subsequent units used to for 3 new artillery brigades with 16 guns each.

Meanwhile the Belgium 🇧🇪 based division of defense giant Thales is ramping up production of laser guided, FZ275 rockets, which Ukraine uses as a cheap, accurate method of shooting down Russian made drones. Each rockets costs only $10,000 usd to purchase and the rockets are compatible with number of NATO launch systems, including the VAMPIRE system made by L3 Harris, rocket pods for NATO F-16s and Helicopters and has been adapted to Ukrainian MI-8 helicopters. Thales has now developed a 5 tube launch system that they have attached to a high maneuver vehicle and Ukraine has already tested units on the battlefield. LZ275 has a range of approximately 3KM and is an ideal, cheap and accurate system for combating Russian drones.

Thales is ramping up production of the LZ275 rockets from 3500 units annually in 2025, to 10,000 units annually by the conclusion of 2026.

Three Ukrainian army strongholds were struck by FAB-3000 bombs. Footage of strikes by Russian FAB-3000 aerial bombs near the villages of Kostiantynivka and Krasnyi Liman. The attack was carried out by a Russian Su-34 frontline fighter-bomber. Ukrainian units from the 60th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade and the 100th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade held the buildings in these villages. A FAB-3000 aerial bomb strike on a Ukrainian stronghold near the village of Ivanivka in the Dnipropetrovsk region is also shown. Judging by the widespread use of FAB-3000 bombs, the Russian army already has a surplus of them.

I think US goverment has abandon the Europe, they just cut off Europe's last stable source of energy supply.
Or it is a plan to push Europe can only import oil and gas from US.

Footage of a Russian FPV drone, "Prince Vandal of Novgorod," striking a rare new Ukrainian towed 155-mm Bogdana-B artillery gun. The video also shows two destroyed KrAZ-6322 trucks of the Ukrainian Army. The 2P22 Bogdana-B artillery gun is based on the Soviet 2A36 Giatsint-B artillery gun and entered service with the Ukrainian Armed Forces in 2025. The artillery gun has a 52-caliber barrel. The Bogdana-B artillery gun has a firing range of up to 40 kilometers with a standard projectile and up to 60 kilometers with an assisted-rocket projectile. The guns are used by the 47th Separate Artillery Brigade of the Ukrainian Army. The video was filmed in the village of Malaya Rybitsa in the Sumy Oblast of Ukraine.

You know I had this internal debate of either Europe or the US assisting ukraine with their troops possibly later. But what i saw from the Iran conflict has proven to me now that this will never happen.

The only news sources I keep receiving is russia still in the gaining land phase, the middle of May the mud will dry up. Does ukraine have enough troops for another major counteroffensive?
