An adhoc network of ground and air drones can serve as a coms channel eliminating the need to lay cables. Each node needs to have a relay mode for this to happen. Should be achievable as swarm drones have been around for a while now.

The SHADOW RIDER is a family of modular autonomous unmanned ground vehicles designed to meet the multi-operational needs of the modern battlefield and to support soldiers in complex and challenging terrains.

In the armed variant of the SHADOW RIDER designed for fire support missions, the “man” is always in the loop in the decision-making process, and the fire decision is not made by the system.

ASELSAN’s ASLAN Unmanned Ground Vehicle;
  • SARP-L Weapon System,
  • AVAZ Long Range Acoustic System,
  • ROKETSAN #METE Missile,
  • Load transfer
is undertaking critical missions with its integrated versions.

I can't even imagine the critical missions it is undertaking in Aselsan's facilities. Maybe there's a Havelsan-Aselsan war going on in Ankara that we don't know about as we seem to hear that every UGV or UAV is operating in the harshest conditions, undertaking critical missions, completed all the tasks and is ready for delivery. Wherever these things are "undertaking their critical missions" it is for sure not in the Southeast, Iraq, Libya or Syria etc.
