The US is sending a significant naval force close to Venezuela, including roughly 16,000 troops, 8 warships, and a nuclear submarine. The aircraft carrier Gerald R. Ford, along with its escort ships, is also moving toward the area.

The large-scale buildup of U.S. military forces in the Caribbean suggests that the Trump administration may be preparing to expand operations in the region, raising the possibility of the first U.S. strikes on Venezuela.

Trump says he’s not considering strikes inside Venezuela, walking back on earlier comments. Meanwhile, the US military buildup in the Caribbean continues

Well unless China builds a base in Venezuela and starts patroling there really isn't anyone who do anything about it.

Russia lands Wagner-linked plane in Venezuela — pushing into Washington’s backyard A Russian Il-76 linked to Wagner networks landed in Venezuela, Defense News reports. Caracas recently asked Russia, China and Iran for military support as the U.S. stepped up activity in the Caribbean. Moscow didn’t keep Maduro waiting. The aircraft belongs to Aviacon Zitotrans, a company sanctioned by the U.S., Canada and Ukraine for supplying military equipment to Wagner-controlled conflict zones. While Washington is focused on the Middle East and Asia, the Kremlin is quietly re-entering Latin America. A not-so-subtle reminder: geopolitics hates a vacuum, and Moscow is trying to fill one right under America’s nose.

Russias capabilities are limited. It would be different if China decided to take action. But I don't expect China to take any action since it's too far away and Chinas interests are closer to Sharabough and Taiwan.

China Navy has not get the capability to perform military action far away from Asia.
Even if the ship of China Navy is more than US Navy, there still long time to go.
Also, China has no motivation to fight US in regions outside East Asia at this time.

However, Venezuela is one of the important sources of oil to China, India and Europe. There will be huge impact once US decide to overthrow this regime.

I am pretty bad in geography, isn't that part of South China Sea?
I assume you mean Sharabough in West Philippine Seas.

Some will call it South China Sea, but at the end of the day it's the difference in naming it. like Bosporos or Istanbul Strait. Aegean sea and sea of islands.
