J-20 itself is a faulty aircraft. Many also forget that this plane is an interceptor, not a workhorse fighter jet. Not to mention the rumors that the Indian military detected J-20 using old radar, this aircraft isn't as potent as some people think.

"Power is the appearance of power" this is true in regard to the military. I remember growing up getting fed with propaganda saying Abrams and Merkava are invincible when in reality there is no such thing as invincible. But countries through propaganda convince us that they are stronger than they actually are, and their weapons will magically win a war.
