The ST1 is a light air-transportable Chinese 8 × 8 wheeled tank developed by NORINCO (North Industries Corporation). Export version of the ZTL-11 wheeled tank. ST1 is designed to equip rapid deployment forces to destroy tanks and increase the firepower of units while maintaining high mobility.
105 mm tank gun (NATO standard) is installed in a two-man turret. The vehicle is also equipped with a 7.62 mm machine gun (located to the right of the main cannon) and a 12.7 mm anti-aircraft machine gun (mounted on the right side of the turret roof). On each side of the tower, there are three grenade launchers for shooting smoke grenades. The fire control system includes a stabilizer and a thermal imager, which allows you to fire both from a place and in motion at any time of the day at moving and stationary targets [1] [3].
