If we still want to stay with Kementrian BUMN, then PRC (SASAC) is could be our example, no joke.

There was a plan to IPO the Pertamina back then, not long time ago. For this case, the workers were the one that protest against that plan, that was only for IPO btw. Their reason was that Pertamina works for the people, not for investors. Their logic was distorted I think wkwk. You put some investors in Pertamina to put more voice in their decision making process. When someone nggondol or main di pengadaan apa dimana lah, the private investors especially the big one (that put people in board of directors) surely will angry for that because their money is digondol and they can nyabut the people that corrupt.
Much better solution, how the US was mecah Rockefeller's Standard Oil to seven seperate companies. When you monopolized the market (even in de facto way) without competitors, you can put the price as high as you want because you are the sole suppliers for the whole market demand. But once you have the competitors, then you have to find the way how to gain the efficiencies in order to produce more with same/less efforts and you can put lower price to kill/race against your competitors.

Hate to saying this out loud, but you should understand that most Anglophone people (thus their officials & politician) differentiate countries based upon the dominant "skin colour" of its inhabitant and their religions.
