but i think getting SSN means having special ties with some other bloc, that means we are deviating from our political non-bloc status right?? also the anything-contain-nuclear is sensitive in any mean for Indonesian political view

Another testbed? I belive It will not going anywhere.
Around 2030, they already build reactor prototype in sub hull mockup

What are the options for VL SSM these days other than Yakhont/Brahmos ?

Consider CAATSA , very unlikely we opt for Yakhont.

We can't/won't buy Chinese either.

Are we planning for LRASM ?

I highly doubt we can put Brahmos either.

24 MR
32 LR
16 SSM
24 MR is camm-er albatros ng in 4 x 6 cell launcher, available if the front CIWS removed.
This set up, the most expensive one with 32 VLS, 24 camm er, 16 SSM costs about 100-150$ million depending on the missiles, if LRSAM is SM2 blk4 or aster 30 then even more.
The ship's costs may reach to be on par with bergamini class or even exceed it.
I highly doubt it. Too much deviation from original Arrowhead 140.
24 is not 3x 8 mk41 but 4x6, small caliber albatros ng /camm er with gws 26/36. It fits into the front bay where ciws is optionally available.

4x8 mk41 is base 140 design

4x4 SSM is optional if placed like IH. However i doubt but doable.
The matter is the price.

Afaik the Iver Huitfeldt contract already been signed even Janes confirmed the contract in its article.
That's only a preamble contract.
Brazil got Nuclear powered Submarine from France right? With this kind of development, as Indonesia government itself very concerned about this issue and carefully studying the impact of Australia's power projection capability it would be sooner than later Indonesia would trying to get on their hand such capability too. This is a big issue for every countries in the region, not only about China threat, for every knife they can pointed at China is surely can be pointed at us or everyone else too.
I am not against operating SSN, but right now we should focus getting SSK, we can start thinking about SSN in 2030+.

Glad that the AH140 is now official along with the FREMM, I hope Sri Mulyani wont be having too much headache.

69 (nice) month that's almost 6 years, I don't think 4 FREMM can be finished in Italy in that time frame.
After AH140 PAL can build 2 FREMM immediately (and maybe in Italy they also still building our other FREMM), the schedule is not bad.
30FFM should find other shipyard if also getting selected.

PAL submarine division is the only one that still uncertain, maybe we need to wait till november to find out, they better drop some news on november after building all of this fucken hype.

69 months is for two ships.

So 1 ship = ~35 months before moving to the 2nd hull.
