Idiots lost their biggest customer for flirs. Aselsan needs to speed up development on CATS and DASS. But I'm betting that ban will be overturned after a few months like last time.
Yeah it's on American drones also it's f.ing great. Best in the business.

Well i actually thought this was widely known. There is actually no reason to ban this considering we arent violating international rules in any way or form, but even if it comes to that we have the technology to develop our own. Its just that purchasing a pre-existing one is more convenient and quicker.

Honestly the ban is from October 2019 and still the Tb2 bayraktar was still used in spring shield and libya so I think they will find a solution

It’s always so funny when I see some country putting an embargo on selling a certain military tech to us during some military operation and reason it with “human rights violations” or “fueling a military conflict” etc.
Like what do you expect bruh? You are selling military tech and shiet... not candies and flowers. Should we use the weapons for taking selfies with them for Instagram or fight a war with them?

Looks fake for a few reasons(not professional)-too sad for their credibility if its true:
The drones belong to the Azerbaijan and operated by them (at least on paper) - so they can limit further exports to the Azerbaijan but not to Turkey.
Turkish drones, parts exported to the for use in Turkish drones didn't take place in Karabakh operations- can be easily proven by serial numbers of parts used on drones they can if interest pay a visit and check serial numbers of all cameras on installed UAVs,
Azeri drones were exported along with permissions of foreign parts, i don't think we have rights to re-export without a permission they can again check serial numbers on Azeri drones.
Apart from these, they need strong evidence to limit exports to Azerbaijan, to conclude these drones particularly used against civilians.; again pretty easy to collect reliable evidence from the scene, bomb residues -wreckage CCTV records.
So leaves 2 options, either this is fake, or they truly believes those not-making sense statements by Armenians which Turkish drones are actively operated in the operations -statements by people who is literally delusional about Turkish F-16 and high rank Turkish military personnel in the front lines-, or Azerbaijani drones used against civilians -again comes without any proof-
In fact, if the latter comes out as true it means they were simply deceived by lobbying.
Allright it came out as true and we came to a moment where Armenia's statement are counted "True" without any further requirement of proof.

- NK was Azerbaijani territory with Armenians having ethnic majority. Armenia invaded and commenced, ethnic cleansing and annexed. Not very different from what Russians did with Ukraine.
- To look it from an different angle, there are ethnic Turks living in all around Balkans. There are couple of Balkan Turks here in this forum too. Then Turkey can do the same with Balkans where ethnic Turks are majority of the population?

BAYKAR did not use a domestically produced EO turret because a proper one was not available during TB2 design and development. The Aselsan ASELFLIR 300-T non-integrated turret used by T129 and ANKA was a readily available high-quality product, but with a total weight of almost 120Kg it was outside the technical envelope of the TB2.
However two next-generation EO turrets Aselsan DASS and Aselsan CATS are lightweight (under 59Kg each) falling within the TB2 technical envelope. Under development for high-end platforms (CATS will be used in AKSUNGUR), one of these technologically advanced turrets may make an excellent choice for an upgraded TB2, should an embargo force this issue.
Thus the proximate arrival of new advanced domestic EO turrets removes WESCAM MX-15D availability as an issue of practical concern. The high end Aselsan turrets may be expensive, but this is inline with the design philosophy of the TB2: a low cost platform with expensive high-end targeting capabilities.

since Japan put an embargo on AZ after 1992 - we can't buy tech. to supply AZ (that is why there was no ALTAY deal)
but anyway - it seems like we don't need western tech. anymore... aksungur and akinci already flying... look at the article I posted above

Yup I gave warning on it last few days, the Armenian lobby is quite strong in Canada (probably 3rd strongest after US and France)...and also NDP party (which always take up these issues the most to virtue signal) is significant power control w.r.t liberal minority govt right now.

This should not be worrying since Canada has been doing it in April and it did not affect the Libya campaign so I think turkey has enough WESCAM sensors in stocking

In my estimation regarding NATO/West....there are only 2 reliable partners (US, France) to give you the tech reliably without the virtue signalling guilt complex blah blah stuff....esp given the tech they have given to some countries engaged in constant war.
These two will of course potentially cut the flow for political reasons that can crop up (and you guys all know this recently w.r.t Turkey)....but it wont be some BS excuse about "being used for actual war and you are killing enemies??? waaah!"
Rest you have to be very careful with in West, esp Germany, Nordics and Canada. Too much peace love dope mindset...some think the maple leaf on flag should be another kind of leaf heh.
