Thought it would be interesting to all share what internet speed we got with https://www.speedtest.net/

That's what I got with wifi.

That's what I got with wifi.

100 / 50 Mbps package booked, comes close to the performance - so far everything is smooth with a low, stable ping

Here's me:

Ping 16 ms
Download 34.08 Mbps
Upload 41.80 Mbps

Not sure why upload went higher.

lolzzz even better. Like 5 km away from the exchange in sheikhupura. For example Lahore is the Capital of Punjab but if you are far away from the Local exchange then you will get bad internet. Like Rewaz garden is 10km away where i have my flat in lahore and the net speed is good but not great for an 8MB package.

However with SKP aka sheikhupura i am 3-5 km away from exchange so i get my full speed of 8mb here. The thing is the most popular form of internet is broadband to router and then to WIFI and that is what we use here when we use PTCL. The likes of 3G/4G are crap.

I have 8.56 Mbps download speed... 450 is ridiculous. I'm very jealous. I'm waiting for 5G home internet, it will be a huge difference for us Australians.

However with my other configuration this is what I get generally ;

I pay €49.99/month for 10 gbps in download and 700 mbps in upload. The €49 also includes a landline,TV services and Netflix + Amazon prime for free,quite a good deal for me.

Thats crazy speed and that is a crazy deal. where are communist ideals on internet speed where some have 8 MB download and others have 7824 download speed. Thats 1% stuff right there

Fugg you french boy - I'm getting jealous too - me paying 45€ the second yr (25€ the first) for 100/50 + 4K media-box... no netflix etc.

Thats actually crazy speed. Gigabytes per second!! that is alot! i mean you can download 1gb file like i download 800kb files. Speeds like that is unreal. Is this available for the public and at 49.99 for all of that.

Indeed few years ago proposing 100 mbps was already considered crazy and now the public getting up to 10gbps is even more crazier. In all honesty 100mbps is already enough for 99% of the common people.

Connection to the WWW: Had to delete some parts because it reveals the static IP.

The ping is not good thought,i have seen better probably it is because of multiple connections going in and on, this is the head- master computer of the set of other computers.

The local network goes pretty fast, i can't measure it - the computer raises error in terminal- yet the local ping is about 1-2 us- not ms
It is cable connection btw
At home, it is about 85 /40 through wifi and cable

I request "what is your computer set up" thread so i can show off some cores and RAM )
