I found network cards with 10 gbit capacity for 100 bucks but im gonna wait for black friday or cyber monday for a good deal.
Honestly, 1 gbit is enough too so dont need to hurry.

I live in a major city in Australia yet I have terrible speeds. I bet they have better internet in Congo than we have here.
We got the fastest available NBN plan through Telstra for my CBD office as soon as they rolled it out there and the speeds were as promised. These days it’s 1/3. High speed internet in Australia is a joke.

5G home internet will be our saviour *puts on tinfoil hat*

Seriously, I am waiting for the day it comes to my suburb.

Speed test on my iPhone:
5G mobile network - 322/53, ping 20
WiFi from home NBN - 53/18, ping 6
Both with Telstra.

I'm jealous of both of you, right now I am getting 11.8Mbps download and 0.91Mbps upload...

My best friend lives in a social housing complex, not because he's poor but because it's quite normal here in Denmark. Owning a house has benefits, but requires you to be handyman as buying services are very expensive.

He has around 400mbps atm and pays maybe around 450-500 dkk a month. He's going to get fiber and above 1 gbps for.... 68 dkk a month. That's less than 10 euro...

The housing complex decided to upgrade from coax to fiber, an investment for less than 1 mio. dkk affecting some 160 households (64m^2 to 84m^2).
