The Russian Ministry of Defense has released footage showing the "Dan-T" compact cruise missile. Although the "Dan-T" resembles a missile, it is officially classified as a loitering munition; it can likely be equipped with cameras. The developer of the "Dan-T" has not been named, though it is likely JSC Kronstadt. The technical specifications of the "Dan-T" are similar to those of the S8000 "Banderol" missile, though the latter is 35% more expensive. The "Dan-T" missile-drone is already in active service with the army. It is designed for launch from both Russian and foreign aircraft and helicopters. The "Dan-T" approaches its target stealthily, then climbs to execute a top-down attack. It features a special flight mode to bypass enemy air defense zones. According to some reports, the "Dan-T" weighs up to 270 kg, carries a 135 kg warhead, is powered by a compact turbojet engine, and has a range of up to 450 kilometers, with a flight speed of up to 650 km/h.
