Defence Q&A How do you become an engineer in the defense industry?

With so many news coming out about new planes and missiles like the B-21, AIM-424, Sentinel ICBM, and so on, my question is how do you get jobs designing these pieces of technology? I studied electrical engineering in college, but got a mediocre GPA and rejected from every engineering club. I couldn't land any internships despite going to career fairs. So who land these jobs? Are they just very high IQ geniuses, and I have no chance?

You start somewhere gain experience work in teams on projects and get noticed.
You know the social skills of people with IQ's over 145?
They cant work in teams,its never geniuses working in such companies.
High IQ yes but not to high.
You also need luck,if you were an engineer in countries such as Türkiye where the need for engineers is high you would likely already have a job as an engineer in one of the many defence companies.
In the US you need to be the top(skills) to even have a chance for an job interview.
