The acquisition of the corvette was delayed due to covid-19, but seems it's still in progress.
According to the MaxDefense site the Corvette is expected to fulfill certain characteristics:
Lenght: minimum 80 meters (closer or similar Jose Rizal class)
Displacement: minimum 2.000 tons (similar to Jose Rizal class)
Speed: max 25 knots, 80% MCR (similar to Jose Rizal class)
Propulsion: Diesel only/ Hybrid Diesel-electric, no Gas turbines.
Endurance: 3 weeks minimum, preferably 4 weeks
Range: 4.000 - 4.500 NM at cruising speed
Aviation facilities Multipurpose Hangar, Helicopter landing deck, 10 ton AW-159, AW-109, S-70, MH-60 etc. Also allow operating UAV capability.
Weapons:
Main Gun: 76mm Oto Melara Super Rapid
Secondary Gun: 30mm (Aselsan SMAH, BAE MK.38 mod. 3, or MSI Defence Seahawk DS30. SMASH is already in service with Jose Rizal)
CIWS: US Phalanx 20mm, or alternative offer from country of origin
Torpedo Tubes: 2x3 324mm ASW (SEA TLS-TT or similar to those on Jose Rizal)
* PN may prefer LIGNex1 K745 Blue Shark from South Korea (SK).
AShM: LigNex1 SSK-700 C-Star AShM if SK wins, or possible MBDA MM40 Exocet Block II due to PN preference
Air Defence: 16-cell VLS Mk.41 VLS ESSM, MBDA VL-MICA, MBDA CAMM/Sea Ceptor or K-SAAM using K-VLS.
Sensors:
Main Radar: Hensoldt TRS-3D Baseline D Air/surface 3D. NS-100 3D AESA, Hensoldt TRS-4D or Thales NS-1000.
Secondary Surface Search Radar: Kelving Hughes Sharpeye
Fire Control Radar: PN currently operates Leonardo Selex NA-25X on Jose Rizal. But improved version NA-30S. Korean or French alternatives could also be a possibility.
Hull Mounted Sonar: PN currently using Harris 997, and installing ELAC Nautic Hunter on Del Pilar class frigates. Though Thales "Bluewatcher" is seen as another possibility by author.
Other sensors that may be expected are:
Communications and Radar Electronic Support Measures (C-ESM and R-ESM), Electro-Optical Tracking System (EOTS) a Towed Array Sonar System (TASS), Countermeasures Launchers, Secondary Surface Search /Navigation Radar System and Tactical Air Navigation System (TACAN).
Combat Management System (CMS), able to integrate to the US Tactical Data Link 16 (TDL 16) and Tactical Data Link 22 (TDL22).
