Germany produces its RAM Systems in-country without restrictions and has almost triple our budget while maintaining a smaller force. If we had the same privilege we would put it even on the smallest boat.

Nice, looks like the missile is going to based off Bozdogan.

Wonder if they could demount the tube launcher and replace it with a single 35mm cannon or 20mm Gatling.

Yes it is the same foundation with the earlier 35 mm general purpose gun.

To be honest 6missiles with CIWS would be weak. İ would prefer 11 Missiles rather than Auto Cannon/ missiles combination.

Also there are too much arguments against phalanx. İ read in somewhere reaction time and range of 20mm caliber is not enough against supersonic/hypersonic Missiles.

Also about 35 mm it is said that tiny fragments aren't capable of kinetic hits.

İMO there must be two Gökdeniz ER launchers ( front and rear) .
But we could add more compact 20mm CIWS at right and left side as the Chinese did.
Because there are simultaneously multiple attacks of missiles. From one launcher you couldnt engage multiple missiles.

Look at PLAN O54frigate it has two side CİWS.

So Current Gökdeniz ER with 11 missiles is ideal because it is more compact than RAM.

That would be best of both worlds, should be a consideration for larger Gokdeniz. Like with the plan with Korkut to integrate Sungur.
Land forces start to like the idea of combined weapon systems in a single system, but i don't think navy will do anytime soon.
So we will be seeing Gokdeniz + separate RAM like launcher or 35 mm GP gun + 2 /4 /6 canister sungur launcher.
