Ah, I knew reconciliation this quickly was a mistake. Make no mistake, I was hoping to have Armenia be more friendly but f***s like the Armenian Revolutionary Federation? No, no, these people will become the same headache for Turkey that PKK is.

The key is to get the younger generations of Armenians and get them more friendly and cooperative towards Turkey before the dashnaks can get to them.

Turkey and Armenia will appoint special representatives to discuss steps to normalize their ties, Turkey’s foreign minister said.

Well, it is an open secret that the pro-Western forces in Armenia are actually pro-normalization of the Armenian-Turkish relationship. These are the people who tend to support Nikol Pashinyan. Despite Turkey's ongoing conflicts with her Western partners, many Armenian citizens critical of Russia still believe that Turkey is their only real gate and escape rout to Europe and North America.

They want the borders to re-open as it is seen as the only sustainable solution to lower Russia's influence in the long term. Obviously, the Western world can't hardly wait to see this happening.

Weird thing is that the current Armenian leadership would bite the bullet but only if it is a Turkish one. Any policy, decision, step that can be perceived as caving in to Azerbaijani demands however is no option due to the immense public pressure in the Armenian diaspora. Turkey, on the other hand, can but won`t act on anything that hasn't been pre-approved by Baku.

Well looking at it from Armenian perspective what benefits did they have being pro Russian for a century now?
The Russians used them as cannon fodders against Turks since Ottoman times and when the push came they just followed their own interests which is why still many Armenians see things such as the treaty of Kars as a betrayal from Russians.
The last war hopefully opened their eyes that its better to get along with neighbors rather than hope for salvation from countries far away.

Lets just hope the Kurds will also realize one day that being the body guard of American oil is not gonna help them in any way.

Lets just hope the Kurds will also realize one day that being the body guard of American oil is not gonna help them in any way.

Armenians in Armenia have literally no saying their diaspora (Dashnak) is so strong they rule the country from France, USA and Russia.
The Kurds also doing the same things Armenians did 100 years ago, you can see their growing nationalism everywhere and their victim behaviour is also politicized... they will not change, the sooner the Turkish people understand the better.

Kurds also founded their own lobby group (AFK - American Friends of Kurdistan) in the US, if you follow them all on social media you can see how closely they work together with ANCA, HALC and HAF against Turkey. And then there comes the "Turkish Democracy Project" they refer themselves as nonprofit, non-partisan, international policy organization who also work closely with those foundations mentioned below.
Their council members are also really interesting people such as Joseph Liebermann, John Bolton, Jeb Bush... and Co-Funder is a Kurd who btw. is also a founding member of the "AFK" Abdulkader Diliman. Everyone of them cares dearly about Turkey.

Its Lira thats loosing value so any other currency that can hold its value will increase compared to Lira, doesnt mean they have better economy or something, just that the monetary policy is not as fucked up as Turkey which is really not very hard to archieve these days.
